Good afternoon,

Junior had a wonderful run of blue #'s in January, and last week we had to have construction done in the laundry room due to flooding...digging up cement floors, had a plumber in, lots of noise and banging, and people that smelled different, had to sniff them all!!!

The last week or so, he has been in the low 200's, 236 was the highest, his world got noisy and people everywhere, most he didn't know, I kept him away from the noise and construction as much as possible, but unless I tied him down, he wanted to know what was going on!

His number last night was down to 206, and this am was 193, not a thing has changed as far as food, water, litter, just construction...

I am hoping he will go back to his Beautiful Blues soon, I don't want to adjust Insulin at this time as I am hoping it is due to the work at the house.

any opinions?

love to all, and hugs to those who need one!

Very likely those higher numbers are just from the stress of construction, once the house quiets down again and the routine goes back to normal, more than likely so will his numbers.

I know all my cats seem really sensitive to routine changes, Musette's numbers go up everytime her daddy has to go out of town for work, when he is back in town and the routine is normal again she will go down almost 100 pts.
