Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty had a good night and is starting the day with a good number and a good appetite, but so far has not felt much like having his usual playtime. Instead he is lounging on the radiator. That must have been some birthday party last night!! We'll get in a good play later. When I gave Rusty his shot I smelled a faint smell of something, but it wasn't insulin. Mystery smell!
DH decided he didn't want to go to his yoga class and went btb. Both my "boys" are hibernating this morning. It's -2 F. outside, but with brilliant sunshine after yesterday's rain/sleet/snow/ wind storm. The high is supposed to be 10 degrees. I thought about going on a snowshoe bushwhack today up a mountain, but decided against it. Tomorrow I'll go x-country skiing with the usual group in a park up in the "North Country".

Continuing to send positive thoughts and prayers to Blackie, Rocket, Whiskers, and all kitties who are not feeling well.

p.s. I've been trying to upload a photo from my computer using the "upload attachment" button, without success. This used to work before the board crashed. Anyone else having this problem? I see that lots of attachments do get uploaded.

Morning, Ella!

Beautiful AMPS for Rusty today! Of course he is tired from last night's party, he had a lot of cooking to do yesterday. I'm sure he'll rally and go after Red Ears or Big Bug soon enough. I can't blame him for heading to the radiator, it sounds nice to me! At -2 degrees, I would be hibernating too!

I am having the same issue with attachments that you are, ever since the board crashed. I can get as far as choosing the file and once I tell it to attach, I get a server error message. Is that what's happening to you? Unfortunately I have no idea why it is working for others and not for us, sorry. If you get advice on how to fix it or what's wrong, let me know, OK?


Rusty, thank you for contributing to the party last night. It was my best birthday ever, dude! I can't believe how many kitties showed up, it was crazy! Back to nappus now, boy those catniptinis did a number on me!

Good morning Ella and Rusty! :mrgreen: I had no idea Rusty was such a good dancer....did you know that about him?
He is the Fred Astaire of the feline world apparently.....he does a great John Travolta imitation and was dancing with all the ladies last night.. I think he wore out his dancing shoes! He really put on quite a show!
Now wonder he is relaxing on the radiator this morning.

Brrrr on the temp - but I bet with all that snow and sun that it looks just fabulous. A tad bit cold, but nice nonetheless. YAY on the XCountry ski tomorrow. I am sooooooooooooo jealous.

On the attachments: They are working for me - no problems, uploaded about 4 of them yesterday. I wonder why yours aren't working? size issue maybe? maybe post an inquiry on the tech forum board? interesting that Violet is getting a server error...

Rusty! DUDE! You are quite the cake baker - I had soooooo much fun. I loved the flour wars that Shadow started - we were all white, well Chaos always was, but the rest of us... :lol: SWEET! SO - what's up for today??? We need to plan for the Snow Full Moon Party - and where will it be??? We need a place with lots of snow.... I mean it is a SNOW full moon... Se you? ~~ Mannie

Nice AMPS and i think Rusty has the right Idea w/ the radiator. Cleo used to sleep right on them in MN, there were no covers! I never understood how she could stand it. they were HOT!

Then I tried a really big one (1.1MB) and i ended up w/ a blank screen. Soooooo, maybe the photo was too big. Try reducing the size in your photo editing program. I know you are on a Mac too. I select the photo in iPhoto, select export from FILE , change the size to small, then export, I have a file for them on my desktop. I just did it w/ this photo. It started out as 1.7MB in iPhoto and ended up as 20 KB in my desktop file.

I'm not sure. I wasn't given a choice of small, medium or large, just the ratio numbers. For the second try I set the first number at 1000 (instead of 1654, or whatever it had been) and it automatically resized the second number to keep the ratio between the two numbers the same. Sorry for this convoluted "explanation": numbers are not my forte!

if you hold your mouse over the picture link - it should say the size.

The first was 30.7KB and the second was 555KB

Thanks Ella! Scritches and hugs to the big furry guy -- we miss him a lot.

The rest of our kitties send their best wishes and are very happy that Rusty has a great home SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Everything has returned to pre-Rusty normal here - playing and no worries that some big furry guy is going to pounce out of nowhere.
