Well my little Putster threw me a curve ball today. Based on last night's numbers I would not have guessed he would be this low since A) He was about 50 points higher at +2. B) He did not drop at +4 or +5 which usually an indicator that he will be going low.
All p's fine. He is sitting on the table at the window looking for some deer.

Newbies and not so newbies: I shot this number because I have been doing this for 2 years, have a lot of data, I will be home all day, have plenty of strips, HC and have a lot of experience with Putty and low numbers. I also know that Putty has a very late nadir which can even be as late as +12.

So what is today's lesson folks? Never trust your cat to do what is expected......just when you think it is safe to go to sleep......it isn't. :?

Shooting the overlap this morning Mariam? I know those of us with lots of data often do it, have to do it really...but even when I have days where I am home and can monitor it makes me hyper-tester extraordinaire!

Attie likes a late nadir or second late nadir...so that is why I worry less about the early numbers and more about what he is deciding to do at +4 and +9.

Sleep? We're supposed to sleep?

That's quite an AMPS, Putty -- very impressive first thing in the morning. Hope your day goes well, Miriam and Putty gives you continued nice green numbers.

Well, well Putty isn't this a lovely surprise. Beautiful amps now lets have an equally wonderful but safe surf for the rest of the day

Since Putty is a late nadir kitty I fed HC instead of MC or LC to stop the drop. He still has about 3 to 4 hours to go before nadir.....I guess I know what I am doing today. :roll:

I thought I was getting close to going out today but the Putster has other plans for me. He's had a lot of HC already and he is not going up much.
I know he will bounce from this. :roll:

That is truly the crux of FD, this disease is always unpredictable..

Quite a poking fest going on here today. If only his liver would appreciate how nice green really is but as I can see by his PMPS panic is already setting in. :roll:
 
Well looks like he knows how to keep you home. When Boris throws me a low number I always double check, lol, like is this for real, because I wasn't expecting it.
rest now the poke athon is over. :smile:
 
yeah, I have to say that I would have been surprised by that number this morning too. I wonder if yesterday's 312 was supposed to be the clue?
