I think I got about two hours sleep last night. ;O/ It's gonna be a long day. Okay, so I'm going to shoot 1.25. Gotta run. Hope everyone has a great day!
I just wanted to let you all know that I put out four different kinds of food and he actually ate on his own! He had plenty left to munch on throughout the day so I feel comfortable that he will be okay. It was pretty difficult trying to pull 1.25 this morning. There is just not a whole lot of room between 1.00 and 1.5 but I think I got it. I was also able to get a keytone test and I'm glad to report it was negative. I'm sure choco and his ears are glad that I had to come to work today so he can get some rest. I hope everyone has a wonderful day and we'll talk again tonight.
Hi Dosgatos, I see you are in Japan. I am a quarter Japanese. I'm glad that you have been able to learn some things following Choco's journey. There is a lot to learn and I am so grateful for all the words of wisdom that I have received from so many. Have a great day!
He is doing well. You are in control. You saw how the gravy brought the number up. He needs the insulin. Let's see what the +2 is. You have done a fantastic job. Seems Choco is in a big hurry to get somewhere.
He's sleeping in the bed and if I put any wet food out, the other kitties will scarf it down in a minute. I'll feed him a couple bites and set my alarm for 11:00.
I cannot do anymore tonight. His numbers seem ok so we're going to bed. I'll check in the morning if anybody has any advice for me. Thanks and goodnight.
They always seem to do this to you when you're exhausted! I have had nights where I would set my alarm and sleep with the lamp on so it wasn't so jarring to wake up for tests. The things we do...
I just woke up in a panic thinking I had missed Choco's test time but then realized that I had gone to bed and was done testing for the night. I figured since I was up (half way), I'd go ahead and get a test since it was time to get his +7. Back to bed.
