Yesterdays condo

Morning All! Please let me know if I posted Sabrina's yesterdays condo correctly! confused_cat Again, computer illiterate & lost yesterdays original post! This morning Sabrina's AMPS 259.......going to clear the bounce today? I postponed her vet appointment but just learned the particular vet in the group is usually only in on Thursdays for appointments.......her specialty is surgery.....Maybe see if any others in the practice will see her, as Dr. Alex has only seen her once during these months since dx 9/20 :roll: Have a great day !!!! AMPS 259(7am) 1.25U 3oz ff chicken *threw up
+2 134 (9:10am) dropping too fast? :cry:
+3.25 80 (10:15am) dropping fast, open up ff grilled? Got karo on hnd?
+3.50 81 (10:35am) put out 3oz ff chicken, ate almost whole can
+5 81 (12pm).......let's go surfing, no more rollercoaster please :roll: :mrgreen:
+6 97 (1pm) gave 1 oz ff turkey
+9 326 (4pm) shrimp snack is she still processing food from earlier?
+11 358 (6pm)
PMPS 422 (7pm) 1-1/2oz ff turkey.............what gives? She didn't like the greens today ohmygod_smile .....loves the roller coaster instead, not surfing :dizcat

The URL is correct, but to have it "clickable" after you put in the tag you have to alter the first part like this
Yesterday's condo Hope that makes sense... ;-) I'd say MOST people lost yesterday's post... :lol:

Hope Sabrina works on that bounce quickly... a shame your curve yesterday was during a bounce.... but all data is good data ;-)

Hi Everyone! Help!!! +2 134 & she threw up......check BG every hour for the next few? I'm concerned about too low nailbite_smile hypo!!!

Give her a little time (30 min.) for her tummy to settle back down and see if she'll eat. I would get a +3 for certain.

Did you feed Sabrina anything out of the ordinary? (Gabby can't eat beef -- it comes back up. Lots of cats are allergic to beef and fish.)

No I didn't stuck to the ff classics & wanted her bonita flakes. I threw out old food(threw up in it!) & just gave her more about 10 minutes ago. I'll test her again @ 10:15 & update you nailbite_smile thanks, cindy

She's down to 80 @ +4.....should I give high carb ff gravy? nailbite_smile oops! meant +3 :cry:

Hi Cindy

Did Sabrina keep down her last little snack?
Test again soon (+4.5 or so) if the drop is still strong I'd give some of the gravy (NOT the food... you don't want to fill her up) ;-)

I think Bruce might mean +3.5, not +4.5, since your last test was at +3. I'd go with +3.5, just to be sure!!

Yes she did.....it's now 10:35.....will test her now & post in a couple of minutes

Ok I'm back.... +3.5(10:35am) 81. I put down ff chicken classic 3oz....& she's almost done eatig the whole can :roll: Next reading should be in 1/2 or 1 hr....I think she's over the Hump? Cindy

Nice +3.5!!! Hopefully she's settled in for a surf, but yes - getting a few more tests to be sure is a good idea!

I still don't know if it's +3.5 or 4.5 ;-)

Anyway, looking good, no change, the FF is keeping her stable. You can take down the 911 :smile:
But yes, nadir is a ways off (especially if this is +3.5), so keep your eye on her and keep testing... hopefully she'll just enjoy surfing the lagoon :-D

It's hard sometimes to balance the elation of the low numbers with the fear of them :lol:

Next time you post (+4 or 4.25?) you can put the :mrgreen: where the 911 was ;-)

Hi, Cindy. I got your PM. The folks here are providing some good guidance.

The only thing I would add is don't be overly generous with food. Test, then feed a teaspoon or two (in this case of LC) if you need to and then repeat in 30 min. (Lather, rinse, and repeat.) If numbers are staying in the 60 or above range with LC, it's a great looking surf. If they drop below 60, you may want to keep things level by adding some MC or HC. Just don't over feed. If you fill Sabrina up and you need to shift over to HC, she may be too full to eat. In addition, if you over feed, some cats will barf the food back up which makes getting them on a surfboard even harder.

You may want to print out these instructions on how to handle low numbers.

I'm at work and I'm not sure if I'll be able to check back in.

Bruce and Amy are doing a great job. Sienne asked me to check in because she's at work and wasn't sure how long anyone else could stay with you.

I would get the next test 30 mins after you fed because they like to come down, usually, during this timeframe. Let's see if all that food got her flattened here, ok?

Hey Marje!!! Did post it in the updated subject line +5 81 (YEAH!!!!) :mrgreen: she's now going surfing....advice on when to test next. Update...Sabrina's +6 97 :smile: Looking @ her ss, is her nadir somewhere around 5.5 on the average :?: .......opinions welcome :razz: I'm off to the store & p.t. which I had to reschedule from this morning :roll: When I get back I'll update....hopefully in a couple of hours, in which time Sabrina can relax ;-) Cindy & Sabrina dancing_cat
 
Well, so much for the nice surf :smile: I got back to the house @ 4pm, +9 326BG.......I guess she was done surfing those greens :roll: Should I check her @ +11 to see when to shoot or keep with her 12 hr cycle? I'm just afraid her BG will skyrocket & don't want that tonight!! Learn something new every HOUR with Sabrina ohmygod_smile I'll keep on posting Cindy & Sabrina cat_pet_icon
