Good Morning, Everyone, and Happy Valentines Day to you and your kitties,
Rusty had a good night, ate all his nighttime food, and was eager for breakfast this morning. He's back in his good numbers. Let's hope he can stay there! We had a good test, an "ouchie" shot (but it got in), breakfast of FF T&G and Wellness Turkey (first sitting eaten), a schmooze, and now the LagoonMeister is chillaxin' in his little bed by the radiator.
Today will be a "rest" day for me. The snowshoe hike yesterday was a challenge: 6 miles of deep snow and we had to break trail all the way. But the woods were beautiful, as was the river and the rapids. But I am tired today (and sore from stepping down into a thigh-high creek bed that was snowed over so you couldn't see how deep it was. Fortunately there were 2 layers of ice and the second layer kept me from getting wet! But it was difficult to climb out with my heavy winter pack on my back).
Our frozen food in the coolers on the porch seems to be staying frozen, so I haven't had to take it over to my friend's freezer. This weekend it will be below zero again, so that will help. Can't wait until our 'fridge arrives on Monday! The little 'fridge is doing a good job and I am no longer worried about the insulin.
Today is the 44th anniversary of our engagement (Feb. 14th, 1969). We will have a good wine with whatever we have for dinner!
Wishing every one a good day and sending strong healing vines to all kitties and beans in need of some.
