See he just wanted to be in the right color for the Holiday...lol Now Lucian you gave mom a pretty red for Valentine's day but I'm sure she would happier with a prettier color like Yellow! Yellow is a nice sunny color don't you think?

He is still clearing that bounce from last night, it may take him about 72 hours to clear it so don't stress if he rides a little high in the water for a day or two.

Yeah, Lucian is my only Valentine, that's my boy. cat_pet_icon Much less trouble than the past men in my life have been. :lol:

Just got up and made coffee ~O) ~O) , I needed those extra 2 hrs, could have used a couple more, I'm so exhausted lately. It's stress, I'm sure. :sad:

I caught Lucian for a ketone test last night, 5 min after his PMPS, still negative, thank goodness. With him reading HI, it always concerns me, but we're good, at least for now.

Hope you and DH have a great 'V' day! :thumbup And everyone on the board with their SO's. :-D

Actually not too shabby for coming off a bounce...nice and steady, you don't want him to clear too fast and set him up for another big bounce.

Don't feel bad Autumn is doing just about the same thing today, clearing her bounce from her stressful day yesterday and she is also dropping back down nice and slow, she is a little lower than Lucian but then she started out lower.

Keeping my fingers crossed that he may 'settle in' over the next few days.

Poor Autumn and all kitties I think, they get so stressed when they have to go to the Vet, unless they do it all the time. :sad:

Mine have so rarely gone, they hate the carrier. I think, they know, that if they have to get in the carrier, something bad is gonna happen.

It amazes me to see people that travel with cats all the time and the cats are cool with it, but they have been doing it all their lives. They're used to it. I've never taken a cat with me for a ride, like I did my droolers. :lol:

I use to have a cat Max (Not the Maxwell I have now, but they do look alike) that use to travel with me all the time. But he never traveled in a carrier back then as I had a minivan and so I rigged up a litter box for him that had velco on the bottom so it would stick to the carpet in the back of the van, I did the same thing with his kitty bed and food and water dish. I had also leashed trained him so when we would check into a motel I would just walk him in on his leash to the room. Back then I was an exotic dancer and travelled quite a bit for work, and Max would always go with me, he was a great travelling companion. He would see me packing and get all excited and would run to where his leash and harness were hanging and meow until I would load up the van and go get him.

But now my animals don't go anywhere except the vets so they aren't fond of riding in the truck...carrier means vet or moving two of their least favorite things in the world. Although I have 3 that can't eat nice with the others so they have special carriers that they go in to eat while the others eat in the kitchen...its kind of funny to watch I start picking up the food dishes and Sophia goes to her crate, Patches to his and Duvessa to her big kennel then they all sit and wait to be served. But those carrier are different than the ones that take you to the vets, Eating carriers are big Med. dog size while the one to go to the vet's is a regular cat sized one.

Same here with mine, vet and moving are the only times they're in a carrier. If I pull out the carrier, they all run and hide! My feral will puke within 5 minutes in the car, every time, without fail, so I have to line her's with newspaper until then, then stop and clean it up, wipe her with baby wipes and put a towel in her carrier, then we finish the trip. Been that way for 16 yrs! :lol: So I'm prepared for it.

Lucian has not been nice today for his tests. :sad: I had to get the bath towel, hand towel wasn't doing it. Guess I spoke too soon last night. ohmygod_smile He's been quite combative and vocal today.
 
Come on big boy clear that bounce! I want to see at least yellow again.
