Felix started .5u Lantus 2x day on Friday. Day 4, today, his +3 354, +6 378, +9 366.
We've held his initial dose 3+ days and I think we should bump up to 1u tomorrow morning after his AMPS (as we're not seeing a decline after his AMPS like I think we should).
The vet started us on an 8:00 AMPS/PMPS schedule, but its making it difficult for work. How easily can we start moving his AMPS back without over-dosing? I've been lurking, a little in the Lantus SG, but not feeling comfy posting there yet.
Input from anyone? Thanks a bunch!
BTW- someone asked over the weekend how Felix's teeth were. What exactly was meant by this? Are we looking for an odor? Discoloration? Sensitivity? He has always been sensitive to first lapping at water in the bowl-it makes his paw give a quick twitch...
