Question, DH bought the ReliOn meter, but there is some confusion. I see some of you have the ReliOn, but there are, it looks like, 3 different ones, and he bought "ReliOn Ultima Strips", and "Relion Confirm Meter", and then I see on board "ReliOn Micro" (3 different meters?). So should I take back the meter "Confirm" or the strips that go with "Ultima"? I don't know if they have the Micro, so should I take strips back or meter back? I can get strips for ReliOn Confirm, or I can get the Relion Ultima meter. (I need it now because I'm low on strips for my Bayer. And after this I will order from FDMB Arkray)

Hi, I'm not sure you can actually take any of the meter or strips back. I think they have a non return policy on them, but I could be wrong. We always used the relion micro .. If I'm not mistaken, all the strips can be used in any of the relion meter .. but again, I could be wrong. Hopefully someone can help clear this up.

Thanks Devon, I just got off the phone with the ReliOn company, like you said, no returns, but they are sending me out a meter free, to go with the Ultima strips. However, I think the meters used on this board are probably the ReliOn Confirm or Micro (Walmart didn't have the Micro), but I found out that the strips for the ReliOn Confirm or Micro are the same. So it looks like I'll just go and get the ReliOn Confirm/Micro strips. And have the Ultima as back up or donate it to this site, since I already have the Bayer meter also.

OK, off to Walmart :sad:

Oh, I'm so sorry you have to go to Walmart...I hate even driving through that parking lot!!! At least you can park by the Garden Center and zip into the pharmacy, without having to walk through the whole store. It's very nice that Relion is sending you a meter to go with the strips, though.

Glad you got the answer.....I've seen the Confirm and the Micro at Walmart.

Daphne continues to look spectacular....you all are doing so great with her!!

Sending our thoughts and prayers to you and DH today on the four-year remembrance of your sweet Cindy crossing the Bridge. Yes....Max was quite the handsome ladies man so I'm sure they are frolicking together.

I've used all three ReliOn meters. The Ultima is an older meter and requires a larger drop of blood than the Micro and the Confirm. The Ultima uses different strips, also. The Micro and the Confirm use the same strips. The Micro and the Confirm are Walmart's branding of the Arkray Glucocard 01 meters and the strips are made by Arkray and are the same strips that the Arkray Glucocard 01 meters use. Therefore, you can order the Glucocard 01 Sensor strips from American Diabetes Wholesale and they are less expensive than buying the ReliOn Micro and Confirm strips. Check this out:

Got the ReliOn Confirm today at Walmart and strips, (needed now) but I will order through FDMB (Thanks Ella for info, VERY GOOD PRICE!) I was wondering if anyone buys syringes from them, I use human syringes, but I see they sell pet syringes! My Vet. didn't even tell me they had pet syringes.

i order all of punkin's diabetic supplies through ADW. they have good service and when i had a problem with some strips (getting too many error codes) they took them back and sent me new ones without any problem. i like them.
