Good morning LL!

5 p's present this morning. Tarragon is happy furry purry after being nice and blue and green yesterday and last night.

I was MIA all weekend. DH ran the 10K and kicked butt. It was 17 degrees with a 7 degree wind chill. I'm glad I opted out as his lungs hurt all weekend after and he doesn't even have asthma.

We ended up babysitting my BFF's 6 week old baby Saturday night so her and her DH could go out to dinner for Valentine's day. Oh boy. It's been a long time since we have watched a baby. It was the first time my BFF had been away from him since he was born and he is definitely a mama's boy. It was a long 4 hours for DH and I and the fur babies were not happy with the noisy little creature we let in the house. Tarragon kept wanting to get right up and see what all the ruckus was about. Charlie was pacing and ended up shredding his bed pillow. Turnup was sitting watching with an evil look on her face that made me realize I should not put the baby down anywhere near her.

Snowing here. Yay! Of course it will turn to sleet and freezing rain this afternoon so that will be a pain. By tomorrow it will be 50 and just a memory.

Hope you all had a great weekend. I missed you all and will try to catch up on condos as soon as I get a chance.

I wondered what Tarragon was doing all the way up there, yesterdays lagooning around explains that! Hope the bounce clears soon.

Morning! nice on the blues and greens yesterday. Tarragon - best return there buddy - it suits you. Come on down, OK?

Nice on the babysitting! noisy little things aren't they? That story so reminds me of when my DGS first stated coming around here - Mannie was so unsure of what that screechy little tiny human was. I love the furkids, and Charlie's, reaction to it all. Bummer on the shredded bed pillow. :?

Congrats to DH and the 10K run. Dang that was cold!, but I'm glad he did well.

Enjoy your day today!

Hi Melissa and congrats to DH on the 10K and 17 degrees...brrrr! He must be really fit! What fun with BFF's baby and the furbabies wondering what the heck! I bet they all gave the baby a nice good-bye when he left. Have a nice day, Melissa, and be careful driving if you are at tbp today!

Congrats - and more power to - DH!

Sounds like you had a very eventful Saturday night!!

Glad to hear all is well with T today, and I'm sure everyone is happy to have peace restored at home  !

Have a great day!!

Poor you and the fur babies, I hope you're all relishing the quiet.
Hope Tarragon clears this bounce quickly and you guys have a fab Monday

The Furbabies are no longer in a panic, the sitters have calmed now, life returns to normal
I think that the cats hear a babies cry as a cry for help or danger..So they hide & run away.
My DC brought his son here & Copper & Moonie hid & meowed the whole time!!
How a child strikes terror into the hearts of cats
Except of course, Mannie who got long doses of Nicholas :-D
Congrats on your DH for that fine performance-Glad you with asthma didnt do it!
Hope you have a great Monday & all the kitties get back to their happy demeanor!
Hugs & Love from us!

OK Mr T they baby is gone, you can come down now.

Hi guys .. congrats to your DH! What a feeling that must be, well, doing so good at it, not the pain afterwards! Poor kitties .. not sure what to make of that loud tiny hooman! I'm sure my girls would feel the same way if such a creature was brought in our house  have a great day!

   @ deciding you were too old for that, just wait for the grandbabies!!!!

Poor fur babies all stressed out over the baby, all the kitties hide whenever my little nieces and nephews come over to my parents place, Leo strongly dislikes "little people" what a grouch! Sounds like Tarragon was intrigued! Doesn't surprise me because he's such a sweetheart :-D

Have a great evening.
