What to say about yesterday.... pink, yellow, the good stuff remained elusive, bounce mode prevailed. I really hope for better stuff today, but that 458 morning was disheartening. Amazing to me how caught up we all get in a series of numbers. I keep reminding myself that it is just one series in a sea of thousands. Mannie himself felt great yesterday, this morning: he could care less that he is red, or blue, or pink or yellow. We keep on truckin' and hope for an awesome day today. cat_pet_icon

This morning was full of furry purry contentment. Last night the boy is on the prowl... whacks for the civvies, defending all that he sees as his. :lol: nanners, toys, beans lap, personal space: :lol: :lol: the civvies were sent running. Once the domain was set as he saw fit it was nanner time. They all got chews, slobbers, licks upon licks, arranged and rearranged until finally all were as he wanted. He went to sleep there on top of them, 5 for the mattress, 1 for the pillow. :cool: :razz:

Have a great day everyone! Mannie and I send healing vines for all our sick kitties and hope that they have a good day today.

Morning Ella - morning hike today - yes. We have a break in the weather, it is windy, but that's OK. The walk/trek/hike will do me good today. :-D

Rusty!! I heard that too!!!! I think we need to cook - hey - it would be so cool to make that Cinnamon birthday cake that Stu and I worked on for Tori's birthday a while back. it was sooooooo good and perfect for our FD kitties. Glad to see the +2 is coming down from the AMPS. I don't know if you saw the show, I Love Cats, last night on the Animal Planet, but they did a story on catnip. They showed a store selling toys, and there was the Nanner! They even showed a couple of cats playing with them. I have to order one soon to see if Simon will be in love with it as much as Mannie.

Yes, Mannie must come down from there and be ready for the party tomorrow! Chaos is so excited to have a birthday party with Shadow and Raja! Kitchen Krew, come on down!!!

Glad all is well in Mannie Nanner Land. Chaos could not care less what color he is either!

Mannie Nanner baby, please come down some today but no diving so your Mama Bean can play today. I love hearing about how he guards his nanners. I hope, too, they show the Animal Planet show again. The cats were amazing! Have a nice hike.

Maggie will see Mannie and all the kitties tomorrow at the big Birthday Bash. Look forward to Mannie's cookin, too!

I don't know what to do with this dose.... We get one or two great cycles, the rest really suck. Add a drop? wait and see? is it the high before the break? Where is that crystal ball! :roll: :-D

Nice slide for Mannie, Tess is just about the same for +5. Maybe they are finally on the same schedule.

Hi Karrie - actually yes they do. They all get along really well, but there is a pecking order.... :lol: :lol: In the evening, when the nanners are ignored for a while all three will sleep in the same area, often side by side. Too funny on the BAMBAM Mannie King - good one!

Hi Marjorie - that it is - I've really had to step back and look at the forest on this one. Some of the trees are a little bent, but the forest is healthy.

Hi Ann - thanks for letting me know - I will tune that one in. YAY! Yep - it is a decent slide for him, not too fast. so.... we hope for a good pm cycle. paws crossed.

He's been outside, playing with his toys and the nanners, napping, reading me the riot act when i "groomed" him - things are just fine as far as he is concerned. bottom line: happy cat.

Sounds like you guys had a good day! Was the perfect weather here to be outside today... wish I'd had time to take a walk, but errands beckoned. *sigh* Hopefully Mannie will be back down in better numbers soon!! At least he's in a good mood... makes the high numbers a wee bit easier to swallow!!

I did get out this morning, nice trek to the shoreline here. :-D I made sure i did before all those errands and chores started demanding my attention. :?

Hi Michelle,I like the comment about the bent trees. It's so hard to not focus on 'the numbers'!!
I have to remind myself that it's all about about the cat and how he feels, not the the numbers.
Mannie is happy, fiesty, and loving life. So the numbers are higher than you'd like right now, but tey will come down again soon.
Another day of Mannie and the 'nanners, and wackin' the civvies...gees, I love that guy. :lol:

Hi Barb - right you are. There are days when that is tough. But as you said Mannie is happy, fiesty, and loving life. I really can't ask too much more than that - the numbers are what they are, and no doubt he'll post good ones soon enough.

Hi Barbara - yep, put on some ~O) The +10 into the ps was very telling of what was to come. I hope he can go at it a little slower than warp speed. :lol: Best get the cans of cat fuds lined up... :lol: :lol:

Hi Christie - I know you are right. I have tried to explain the concept of gentle descent to him with no diving. He just goes and puts on his speedo...
