Yesterday was......... PINK DAY! Blech on that - I so dislike the pink floor, the color pink, and anything associated with pink. But there we were anyways... :roll: :shock: :o :roll: :lol: :lol: Mannie, dude, seriously - guys do not wear pink, unless their name is Binks. In all fairness to the Manster, he did start out yellow, wavered there for a bit, but well... he seems to have lost his way and wandered onto the pink floor. :YMSIGH: So Mannie, big fella, what did you say that we put Mr Liver back in his place and continue on to the land of the blues and the greens? Is that a head nod I see? - yes! Knew you'd be on board. Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon That yellow this am sure looks great - run with it!

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D The kitty choir, well Elsa that is, continued this morning. YES!! Well, truth be told she was busy trying to hack up a hairball in the midst of trying to perform her choir duties. I'd get three or four meows, then a dash to the edge of the bed (good girl!)where I'd hear ack! ack! ack! ack! then back to the meows in my ear, then back to the ack! ack! ack! ack! :shock: :roll: :roll: She never did lose the hairball. I on the other hand was wide awake by then. :shock: :? :razz: Mannie, the king of nonchalance never heard a thing.... figures. The Manster does not hack up hairballs. :lol: :lol: He was busy in NeverNeverLand, dreaming of an endues supply of nanners and rainbows. He always looks so comfortable sleeping on top of those things - how can he be? Guess that doesn't matter when one loves their nanners..... And as always we had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept, well sort of.... Normalcy in MannieLand.

Hey everybody!! What's up? Besides our BG? Why do those beans worry so much, sheshhhhhh. I feel fine! You guys feel fine? See? We all feel fine.... It's kinda cool here, and not very sunny. I think we need some sun, and some fun! I think it's time to go and visit Willie! Remember that sausage place? YUM! maybe we could go and help them out some ya know? My bean says though that we can't trip anyone like we did at the ice cream place. I dunno... they seemed more willing to share when we gots wrapped up in their legs. heeheehee... See you later? Hi Michelle, that almost a blue there with Mannie! Here's hoping no more pink today, Mannie! Only way is down! Hope he shows you some greens, too. I hope Elsa hacks up the hairball. Mags never has hairballs; what does say about her grooming habits! :lol: Nice with Elsa doing the solo choir. Have a nice day and maybe a walk today. Definitely a few ~O) ~O) ~O)

Oh boy, Willie's home and the sausage place sounds like a plan. I hope he has snow, too! Maybe we could be on our best behavior and they'll give us free sausages. See ya later at the curb, Mags

Hi guys .. uh, mannie? Are you trying to add some more pink to your SS today? What's going on, you're headed the wrong way .. Poor Elsa, trying to sing her little heart out and those dang hairballs keep trying to interfere! Hopefully they pass soon .. one way or another :lol: have a great day!

De bean used de fireplace last nite an' dere are plenty of sticks in de garage... sledding, a warm fire, an' sausages wif tuna toddies an' libber smoothies! Sounds like a perfect partee to me! Hi Michelle. I always crack up at all your coffee cups, since I make lousy coffee. Doesn't matter what brand, I stink at making it. You got a secret, you wanna share? Brand? Pot?

Hi Barb - Yep, that it did - the bean likes the blues. :-D oh too fun on the ~O) ~O) ~O) . Usually, if there is time I head on up to my local barrista who is open and ready to go at 5AM. The mochas etc come from there. On just plain old normal ~O) days it is straight from the pot. We have a Cuisinart pot - which I like, but really don't know if it's better than anybody else's or not. I think it does a good job. As far as ~O) itself goes - I buy whole beans, just cuz I love the smell of fresh ground beans. weird, yes I know... I am partial to Starbucks Pike Place Blend - a nice middle of the road bean. I think its ok - I just kept trying different things, til I found what I liked. Ella makes really good coffee too I hear, you should ask her too... and I bet you don't stink at making it. :-D

So Michelle, I just had a thought....maybe I just don't like coffee. :lol: I had a delicious cup at a friend's house once, and she just used plain old Maxwell House. No one heard of Starbuck's back then. Yeah, I'm old :lol:

Uhhhh I'm the king of pink too buddy......don't listen to your bean, boys can wear pink anytime they want!!! My bean says I can take some steak with me to Willie's, does he have a grill?

Mmmmm coffee, would you believe I only started drinking coffee a year ago? I hated the stuff, then one day......I LOVED IT!!! :lol: :lol: now I can't get enough.

Pretty flat yellow there , Mannie. But it wasn't nice to tease the bean w/ just a touch of blue.

I still use a Melita con and just boil the water on the stove. My only hint for good coffee is make it strong enough. Most coffee I haven't like is just weak coffee. of course, I'm Norwegian and we like our coffee srong enough to hold the spoon upright! :lol: :lol:

Ooooo, Mannie wat are we gonna say when our beans give us dinner? I'm as stuffed as all those sausages! -- Tess

I couldn't live without coffee, either! I've been trying out some coffees that are new to me. Two of them are from Seattle: Tully's, and Seattle's Best. 100% arabica. I don't buy the whole beans any more because it is so easy to burn them in the grinder and get bitter coffee. I figure that the coffee companies roast and grind the beans best. I use the Technivorm Moccamaster coffee maker. It was expensive, but I love it.

Nice cycle today, Mannie, once you got down to business. Did you get out on a walk, Michelle?

Hi ella - me too! it has to be first up in the morning. oh wow on Tully's and Seattle's Best. Both are good. Seattle's Best is now owned by Starbucks, but I think they remain somewhat independent... I prefer Tully's coffee to Starbucks - alot of what Starbucks has can be very bitter, Tully's isn't. Interesting comment on the grinding. Maybe that's why a cup of joe at Starbucks can be so bitter - perhaps their barristas can't grind beans well. :lol: :lol: and i think I will have to check out the Technivorm Moccamaster coffee maker. and yes on the walk - just to the shore.. the rains never really let up - a fine drizzle all day.

228 @ +4. but.... I retested this three times. I was elated with the 88 with the first test, and then thought, hmmmm, no way, and sure enough two additional test were in the 200's. So we took the best one. darn - I so wanted that green. :lol: :lol:

Hi Marje - yep on Elsa - omg... poor kitty didn't knew she wasn't to puke on the white comforter, but also knew she needed to wake the very sleepy bean. omg - seems very funny now. and yes on the 99 cycles. just when I'm ready to change to dose he goes blue and green for a couple so... here we sit. Back to the blues Mannie, OK? and thanks - walk was nice!
 
Lucky that +4 wasn't an 88 or Mr Liver would have had him back to the pink floor in no time! Hoping you get your 88 - but following a gentle fall.

Elsa is just too adorable heading to the edge of the bed in case of upcoming furball. Hope she gets her songs out tomorrow without interuption.
