Re: 2/12 Rocket AMPS 293

Continuing to think of you and Rocket and send vibes of peace, healing, and strength... I really hope you can get some rest this morning, Claudia

Re: 2/12 Rocket AMPS 293

I hope you can get some rest today, Claudia. I tried the parmesan cheese and Blackie wouldn't touch it. This morning, I had to give him some FF Medleys to get him to eat anything. Later I gave him FF Tuna Feast and he ate some of that. I am with you on this appetite thing - it is soooo frustrating. I hope you see some improvement in Rocket soon. You know you are both in my prayers. :YMHUG:

Rocket has been outside on the balcony most of the morning..here is his pic
RocketontheBalconyFeb12.jpg

I was starting to feel a lil better as i was waiting to test him at +6 207 then i was off to bring him his food...he ate it and i had no problem with it...he then came inside to use the LB and decided he wanted to go out again...but then 2 mins later he threw up everything he just ate....no hairball...it's sad cause just when i thought he was ok....

I hope i get some answers come tuesday when i take Rocket back to see the neuro vet...the tremors have subsided for the most part....and no head tilting when testing....that in itself is an improvement...

I wish to thank Venita and DCIN for helping me raise funds for Rocket's vet visit. Thanks to everyone at FDMB for their continued support and continued prayers...it is much appreciated...more than words can tell...

off to check on him....

Re: 2/12 Rocket PMPS 308-Thank you DCIN

well what can i say...or where shall i begin...my mother called saying my sister is yet again in the hospital (3rd time this week)...short story...seems they found polyps in her colon (i'm still learning all the medical terms here)...they have sent the stuff to the lab (can't remember exactly what mom said as it seems i'm living a nightmare here)....please pray it's not colon cancer...she is married with 2 children (16 and 12)....i don't think i can handle yet more bad news....

Rocket enjoyed his outting...had to bring him inside as it was getting windy out...hit and miss with his food...but has not lost weight....i weigh him every day....

PMPS 308....i'm still coming to terms with those numbers....my little guy...he is so brave....

continue to keep us in your prayers and please add my sister too....

Re: 2/12 Rocket PMPS 308-Thank you DCIN

Claudia...Rocket is so beautiful and I'm glad he had a decent day except the pukus. I'm so, so sorry to hear about your sister and will send tons of prayers her way that they are just benign polyps....it is very common so we'll think positively that is all it is. (((Claudia)))...keeping you close in thought and prayer.

Re: 2/12 Rocket PMPS 308-Thank you DCIN

That is a beautiful picture of Rocket. It looks like he was camping and just woke up :-D
I continue to keep you and Rocket in my prayers, and will add prayers for your sister to be just fine.

Re: 2/12 Rocket PMPS 308-Thank you DCIN

I'm sorry to hear about your sister, but hopefully, the polyps will be benign. Polyps are pretty common (I have had a few) and I think most of them are benign or are not an issue if they are taken care of. I will be praying that your sister gets good news but I know this is an extremely stressful time for your whole family while you wait to find out.

I loved the picture of Rocket outside all snuggled in his blanket. He is just the sweetest looking kitty!

Keeping you and your family close and in my prayers.

Dear ((((Claudia & Rocket))))

Oh my goodness, sometimes it is neverending. I am hopeful that you sister will be ok, as a few people here have reported it is not uncommon. I will keep you, Rocket, your DH and Sister in my prayers.
Rocket does look soooo cute in his blankie on the deck! His pics on DCIN are really cute too. :-D . I am hoping he feels ok too. I'm sorry for the pukus today.
Keeping you in our prayers and thank you for keeping us in yours. :YMHUG: .

he amazes me...my brave little guy....he made me smile tonight....

he came out at roughly +4.75 and i was going to test him at +5 but figured he is out on his own the last thing i want is to freak him out...he went on the coffee table on his own (used his little steps) and stayed there for a bit....then he went to use the LB and came back and stayed by the dinning room...and played with some piece of paper that fell off the table for a whole 3 mins....that is a HUGE step for him...i haven't seen him play or come out on his own....

he looks tired though from the pred...not sure if other kitties have that side effect....

he has eaten well surprisingly....tonight has been a good night (antijinx)

please continue to pray for us...and thank you for your words of encouragement and well wishes....means the world to me...

+5.5 238

i will try to go feed him and then bupe dose at his +6.5.....

not sure i'll be able to sleep with all that's going on with us here....i spoke with my sister and she sounds so down...she fears the worse and obviously she thinks of her children...she says if this were to happen to her 10 yrs from now it would be different as her children would be grown up....please keep her in your prayers too....

nite everyone....

Hi Claudia. I just popped in to say thank you for your tip on posting the other day.. I am so sorry to learn that you have been having such a hard time..
I am praying for you and Rocket and for your sister.. Hope you get some sleep for yourself and for them, too..

Hi Claudia, glad you had a better night with Rocket, you earned it.. (bioth!)

And colon polyps are not cancer - I have had some of those removed before... They can be 'pre-cancerous' but once they're removed, that's normally it until the next c'oscopy...? but still you have to hope always for the best - hope your sis will be OK...

Sending hugs Claudia. Your update last night on Rocket has made my day today.

My Mother in law just had surgery to remove part of her colon for precancerous polyps. She was in the hospital two days and was walking and sounding well two days after and was released. The good thing is your sister is getting these tests done so it can be caught early. Instead of waiting ten years to start doing the tests.

Hang in there Claudia.

((((((Claudia and Rocket))))))

Rocket is such a handsome boy, looking content there in the sun. What a sweetie. I'm happy to hear he was out and playing some, that's always a good sign. Healing vines to you both, and your sister, too. Polyps are usually pre-cancerous and easily treated; we have a gene disorder in my family that causes colon cancer and my brother had polyps removed last summer. He's fine now, just needs regular c'scopies to keep an eye on things. Hopefully the same goes for your sister. Chaos and I will be thinking of you.
