The clavamox countdown continues: 4 more days! YAY - Mannie, we are almost done!

Rainbow Kitty came to roost here yesterday - I think we hit every color in the spectrum, only to be followed by a diving expedition by our very own fdmb diving champion, Mannie the Great. Yesterday morning was a truly ugly bounce from a solid green day the day before: full of red and pink. WOW, and OMG, and are you kidding me sums up the PM cycle last night. I knew something was up when he spent time in the kitchen around +3, prancing and dancing and singing dancing_cat ... he knew he had just done a triple somersault off of the high dive. What a nice PM cycle once the diving expedition was done - greens for most of it, without too bad of a bounce this morning: nice to see a yellow, and not a red or pink. Mannie?: you are something else. cat_pet_icon

Normalcy in MannieLand this morning: more dancing for his breffis, more purrs for his test, more nom nom nom purr nom while he ate. As always, the auto feeder went to the civvies: Mannie waited to be served. ohmygod_smile Civvie 1, Bean 0, Mannie 165. One of these days Mannie.... The nanners were his friend last night - one where he would go and hug the nearest one after a test. I left him there when I went to bed: 5 nanners for the mattress, 1 for the pillow - this seems to be the new formation. :lol:

My friends! What's up for today? I feel great! Let's roll -- but where to? More dune buggys? Ice fishing? snowboarding? Hiking? Chillaxin' pool side? What? I am reading for anything! See you guys! ~~ Mannie

Hi Roni! me too on the yellow, though we have now entered pink, hope he turns around. I wonder if the rainbow will show again... :-D I swear that those silly nanners are the best thing I ever bought the kitties Mannie.

Hi Pat - That nanner bed thing he now does is too funny - ROTFLMAO the first time he did that the other day. :lol: :lol: and yes on the colorful SS: one hopes that is a good thing.... :-D

Michelle, you're a much nicer mamabean than I am. If Checks kept track of his nanners like that, I would scatter them into the far corners of the room, just to see him retrieve them. But then, I'm mean *grin*

What a nice night Mannie had. Lookin' for him to come down nicely today. :smile:

Another banner night for our Mannie!! Nice green surf. Hooray for only 4 more days of Clavamox!! What's on the agenda today?

Michelle, you should check out the GPS apps available for your new Droid. They are really fantastic. Even if you're out of range for wireless or wi-fi, they pick up sattelite signals and you can map and save all of your favorite hikes, take waypoints (even take pictures of waypoints), etc. etc. I've downloaded 3 different programs so far to my iphone, but I'll bet they--or something similar-- are also available for the Droid: GPS Kit; Gaia GPS; GPS MotionX. (MotionX is free, Gaia is $2.98, and GPS Kit is $9.98). They all have great maps at no extra charge. Gaia uses the USGS topo maps--all of them! All of these programs are great bargains when you consider what, for example, a Garmin + its maps costs. As soon as it gets a bit warmer I'm going to take my phone on a ski trip and learn how to use these programs.

Hey Mannie, Moonie and I are going to practice our songs for the Full Moon party today. I think I'll invite her to come up here so that we can also watch the Winter Carnival parade. Are you up for that?

Wow, what a pm cycle you had yesterday with the rainbow kitty. I think you deserve a hike as well as a 30 oz coffee drink, yikes! Still can't believe the size of it! I hope Mannie has a good day and not too much diving!

Maggie says she's game on whatever is planned after we rescue Tess. She needs exercise but loves the pool, too.

Get a before and after picture - Nanners without Mannie, Nanner mattress/pillow with Mannie. I wish you had a Mannie Nanner cam.

Hi Ella - and thanks for the GPS/phone info. I will see what the droid has, imagine that it is the same or similar. It is something I would really use. so agreed on the costs vs the gps + maps. -- so GLAD that we are almost done with the clav. i hope i have enough so that i don't have to buy more before then :roll: ... not too sure what's up today - i really need to tend to financial/tax stuff and get that rolling. boring, but necessary!

Hi Beth - yep, he's been busy. some of the cycles have been awful, others wonderful. one of these days he will have some nice pretty blue/green flat ones over and over... no more rollercoasters.... we can always hope!

Hi Christie - yeah he has - i just hope he doesn't dive as intensely as he did last night. that one woke me up. :-D

Hi Jan - I too am ever so glad he is almost done with the clavamox - and i hope (!!!) that when he goes back for his recheck that all is cleared up. paws crossed!what did we do before we had nanners?
