A couple questions:
Watson is scheduled to increase +25 to 4.25 on Friday. Just double checking that is the right move.

The steroid that Watson has been taking for 2 months for his liquid stool is not helping so the vet and internal medicine doctor want to start him on oral chemo pills. One every two weeks for 4-6 months, (chlorambucil and it is being compounded in Virginia and shipped to me in Michigan on 2/19) Just wondering 1) Will this affect his bg levels at all? If his appetite decreases would I immediately reduce or still wait the 10-14 cycles? Anyone have experience with chemo pills that could tell me any other impending side effects? They also still want him to take the steriod (prednisolone) with the chemo pills

Should I be posting the chemo question on a different forum?

Thanks for any info you can provide!

I’d ask about chemo on main too. It will depend on what drug being used so perhaps you could ask your vet for the name.I am guessing the drug might be chlorambucil and it should not interfere with insulin. It can cause nausea so ask about having plenty of cerenia and ondansetron on hand. It can also cause inappetence. It’s good your vets want to have you give it every 2 weeks astgat will limit the length of time the side effects will bother him. Will you still be giving prednisolone?

You had a nice stretch of blue yesterday so I would to see what happens tonight and tomorrow.

@tiffmaxee Yes, the drug is chlorambucil and yes, will continue to do prednisolone per both docs. I will definitely ask the anti-nausea meds
