Yesterday's Condo
I was nervous last night when Sami was down to 52, and when I say nervous I just mean that I felt I needed to test more than I had planned because I wanted to see if she would go below 50 and I wanted to be ready to give her an additional snack if necessary.
From what I saw, she didn't go below 50, but she did surf the 50's right up to AMPS this morning, just over 15 points lower than yesterday's AMPS.
Sami was very hungry this morning. I gave everyone their normal ¼ can at AMPS, but about 15 minutes after her shot Sami was clamoring for more food. She even went after the next mini meal. So I did break down and gave a little bit more. She probably got more like 1/3 can, maybe a little bit more, instead of ¼ can.
Other than that she is doing great. I will probably check her at +1 and +2 this morning since she did start off a little lower this morning than yesterday. I am going to try not to give HC, but if she goes below 50 before +4 then I almost feel like I really do need to give HC.
Sami is off to the office with me again today. She continues to hate the car, but loves hanging out with me at the office. She gets to have her one-on-one time with me and gets to snuggle up in my lap. Yesterday, she was nice and comfortable when one of the guys came into the office. They were wondering how I get any work done, and really I don't get much done when she wants to sit on my lap. Luckily we aren't that busy right now and the Big Boss Man is on vacation for the next week so it should be pretty quiet.
