Two bright red Cardinals were in my tree this morning.

Kitties are doing OK. Sleeping away the day.

How lovely! Glad to hear the kitties are snoozing and that you saw those beautiful Cardinals today! We don't see many Cardinals here...not sure why...maybe too many predators (eagles and osprey seem to rule this area with an 'iron claw')...and the little song birds give them plenty of room!
