Trix was still a little bouncey last evening, but it looks like she's now done with that sillness! DH and I both crashed hard on the couches last night...

Petey is eating better this morning, although he's still a bit gingerly and cautious about it. I think a couple things were going on: the piece of food caught in the sutures was probably really annoying him (he is SO sensitive), and I think he bit down on his tender gum and it hurt, making him nervous and anxious about eating in general. I did notice in one round of fuds this morning that he had to juggle a kibble around, and when he finally got it in a crunch-able position, he winced a bit, then immediately stopped eating. Petey...if you'd eat canned instead of kibble, it would go down so much more easily, little guy!

I actually off today, so housework time...woohoo  ! Have a great day, LL!

Hi Amy, nice slide for Trixie and in the Green Lagoon. Mags was there earlier but already left. We need to get her to stay longer.
Nice report on Petey, poor baby. Sending mouth and feel better vines. Boy, they do like that kibble. Hope he will start eating some wet food. Enjoy your day off!

Back to flatness, which I so prefer over bouncies!

Unfortunately, there is no convincing PeteyPie that wet food is the way to go. Years ago, we tried converting the triplets to all wet food...we tried all of Dr Lisa's tricks, and made up quite a few of our own, too. They literally chose to starve themselves rather than eat "that stuff"   . There was really no choice...cat's gotta eat, or otherwise get REALLY sick. I regret not starting them on canned when they were kittens, but there's no going back now....

He's had a decent dinner, but is definitely cautious. At least he's eating better than yesterday!
