Good Afternoon Everyone! I never got the +4 from last night because Sabrina was TOTALLY cat(2)_steam uncooperative! Today @ +4 is the lowest she has ever been....when should I start to worry? I'll test her @ 3pm(+6), unless otherwise suggested by a forum member. Possibly she's pruducing insulin now ohmygod_smile Thanks everyone Cindy & Sabrina cat_pet_icon

That's a lovely number for Sabrina :-D
At +4 it should be pretty safe - but as you know ECID ;-)

I would think a +6 should be fine but if you're concerned, you can always do a +5.5.

hello, i have no advise to give you at all, im sorry, but i understand the question, when to worry?. It seems like i am in a constant state of worry.
all i can say is hang in there. testing stinks but the more you test the more you will learn< again i am very new here but testing at least gave me a refrence point. it may take a min but someone will find you and advise you better. i do know +4 number is still in safe area but i don't know how fast she drops. stay positive. keep up the good work.

I wouldn't say she is producing endogenous insulin. She's just clearing a bounce. If I'd seen this earlier, I would have suggested you get a +5 because they can come down pretty quickly when clearing a bounce and she did drop quite a bit.

Also, I wanted to clarify what I posted yesterday. When I suggested increasing the dose on the weekend, I meant increasing it, seeing how it goes, then keeping that as her new dose. Not just increasing by a drop on the weekend only, then dropping it back to 1 unit for the week. Also, if you currently are giving a slightly higher dose on weekends, please make a note of that on your spreadsheet so we'll be able to interpret your numbers correctly. Thanks! Just clarifying because yesterday I wasn't sure we were on the same page. ;-)

Afternoon Libby! Yes, I did understand you correctly & decided to stick to 1U today, not increase. I have seen others post when they have adjusted their pet's dose :smile: Posting now Sabrina's at +8 160..........Was very upset with me earlier so I couldn't test @ +6 so I then decided to leave her alone for a while(had to run to grocery store) & ten got her latest #. I'm going to get readings @ hopefully +10 or 11 & then PMPS. Cindy & Sabrina cat_pet_icon

actually, after I posted that to you today, I started thinking that I think I actually meant that comment for somebody else. :oops: So carry on, you're doing good. Now I have to try to figure out whose condo I meant to talk about weekend doses in. :lol:
