Good Morning, Everyone,

Well, I did it again: a real, big-time fur shot this morning. Like the fur shots of old! ohmygod_smile And just when Rusty had the best AMPS number in 4 days! Bummer! So on we go. Rusty had a good night sleeping between his beans. It was -15 when we went to bed-- and -15 when we got up. The temperature has now risen to +1. The sun is shining and +1 feels warm! Although it is not as cold on the New England Coast, we feel so sorry for all those who are without electricity from the storm.

Rusty and I had a good, hour-long schmooze this morning. He didn't want to leave the warm couch (under the lamp). Edward is baking a loaf of bread for the party this evening.

What a bummer! Well, he will recover, maybe the shed will carry him through today. Paws crossed. Such a great amps too.

Enjoy the potluck today - it should be fun. and the archival tonight too. I bet your house smells wonderful this morning - nothing like the aroma of freshly baked bread. :-D :cool:

oh my on that temp! I can't imagine how cold that feels.... The coldest I remember it ever getting here was 5, that was along time ago.

Morning Ella, most likely some juice got in anyway, you think! It's a nice blue AMPS. Oh my on the temperature. That is really cold. I checked on my DM in PA, and they didn't get too much snow, just a nice wintry weekend, Enjoy the festivities today.

Good morning Ella. Too bad about the fur shot. I guess there are two types of folks with diabetic cats....those that have given fur shots and those that will :lol: . It doesn't appear to have bothered Rusty judging by his AMPS. I hope he takes up his reserved spot at the lagoon soon.

I just checked the temperature and it's 70 degrees. After reading that your temperature is a +1 I feel guilty setting here with the doors and windows open. Have a great day and stay warm.

That is pretty darn cold. Always good to sit next to a lamp and snuggle, huh, Rusty?
That's when it's good to have a fire in the fireplace
I should get one going today, Shadow loves sitting near it. And we're much warmer at 25 degrees right now.

Hope Rusty doesn't even notice the furshot.

Bummer on the fur shot, sorry about that. Beautiful blue AMPS, hopefully Rusty won't spike, but if he does... He'll come down again.

Shades of living in MN! I remember those temps, but I thought the 30s were cold here last night! :shock:

Just wanted to see where Rusty was at +5 and it was certainly a major fur shot. Thought I'd try him on Cowboy Cookout for lunch. He had some about a year ago, loved it, and vomited it up. I didn't know if it was a beef allergy or just a bad can. Today he was eager to eat it as soon as he smelled it. Ate it, then vomited! I don't think it was a scarf 'n barf because he ate some, went away, and came back to finish it. So I guess he's allergic to beef. Oh well. I had so hoped to have another food for him. He's tired of Wellness Turkey and Chicken.

Sorry about the fur shot. Hopefully Rusty won't go too high today. He will recover quickly.

Bummer on the fur shot! Shasta's numbers look like that sometimes even WITH insulin! :lol: Hope you guys have a good Sunday.
