nugget had excellent potty overnight; things looked hydrated and well; only thing is that stool looked green… which is concerning. his liver is elevated a bit and i was starting his Thistle back up today/tmw… w everything it sort of dropped off and i regret it now but cant do much about it except start up again.. idk if its that but think possibly.

i skipped yesterday when i really didnt want to and his numbers bit high.. from having really good numbers. maybe why off food. just messed up everywhere..

idk what to do. he wont eat a breakfast/food.. tho i know @Wendy&Neko always suggests half.. idk.. im gonna see if he’ll eventually eat..

side note: his results frm the Echo came back and hes tolerating the fluids well.. so good news there. his heart is ok.. i have to read the report tho. lmk how to maybe post/share..

omg the bebe ate…… a good breakfast too. and got his Lantus.

(been a bit more thirsty.. maybe the lower numbers.. and this morning the higher numbers (NOT TOO BAD tho yay..).. ugh.. shrug. maybe just the kidney things.. idk. might’ve just been a bit full since right when i was gonna give him his breakfast the old vet called and then he wanted water..)

last night got later w fluids then would like.. if you need to get to an earlier time, how to do so?.. like i read you do it early 15 min a few days.. then earlier than that by 15 minutes again for a few days.. but that takes a while.. but is that the only safe way?

vet office said for example if you did them at 6 pm next day you could do 3 pm if needed.. but idk.

Do you mean shifting time for giving fluids (and not insulin) ?

With regard to FLUIDS: I would not say you need to walk it back that slowly. If his fluid is absorbed you can give them. If it makes you feel better then do it an hour or so earlier. How much did you give last night? Was it only 50 mL or so? If so then that’s not a lot and you need to worry even less.
