I got the ok from Noodle's vet to try putting her Denamarin in a little piece of pill pocket to see if that helps the vomiting. I think I will try that tomorrow and just skip it tonight, though. I have track practice right after her PM shot and I don't want to worry "did she or didn't she?!?" while I'm out. I'm nervous about going since she's been dropping pretty quickly after her shot, but her PMPS may be high still and I'll be back by +2. I'll probably just leave extra LC food out in a second location from her dinner to give her a safety net. Trying to let myself have a life!
 
Yep. Those colours aren't pretty on you Noodle don't you fancy a swim instead... Sending bounce clearing vines.

Don't know if anyone's mentioned before, bounces can take up to 6 cycles to clear.

I didn't realize it could take that long, thanks for the info. I wonder if it will take longer to clear this one because she's not on a dose that sends her plummeting?

I should be checking for ketones as often as possible if shes up like this for this long, right?
 
There's never a "bad" time to check for ketones....Even a cat with "good" numbers can be throwing ketones, but yes, it's even more important when they're higher

Hopefully this is the start of a nice, gentle slide out of this bounce. Fingers crossed for a good AMPS, this beans going to bed!
 
That's the only good thing about a bounce - sleep while you can.

Do you have the dog Duck and Pea pill pockets? They are a bit stinky but my cats liked them and they are safe for diabetic cats.

Bounces can clear sooner too. They just don't usually last longer than 3 days. The more the cat's body is used to normal numbers, the shorter the bounces get.
