I am NO expert so not sure how much my opinion holds but if it was me - I would go up to 6.75. I know he had the green/blue day a few days ago but since then there has been enough of the higher numbers that I would increase.

I think that's a good move Jan. Perhaps by the weekend he will level out some and you'll be able to see what's going on during those "missing" hours.

I have a question tho, His PMPS is 5pm, I get home around 4pm, can I test and if he is high give him some R then, and then give the Lantus at the reg, scheduled time????? Or do I need to shoot both at once?

Both at once. Here's why: you want the R to get him into a nice range around the time of lantus onset. Not earlier. If you shoot too early, R could be on way out long before lantus kicks in and then you just wasted your R. :smile:

OK I get that. I know I need to wait and see the number, but if I give R it will probably only be .1

sounds like a plan.. you don't know how the lil troublemakers (antibodies) are going to respond to the R now that we had that lovely recent breakthrough, so I agree that you should use only .1u :smile:

Buddy got into some wet food my DH left on counter about 10 min before this PM test.
Going with the 6.75L .1 R

I forgot I gave 6.75 this am, thought it was stil 6.5. Anyway he had .1 R along with his Lantus. We will see, he hasn't had any R since 1/28. Going to be interesting.
