HAPPY SUNDAY!!!

After quite the eventful night (and earning a reduction which I hope he LIKES!), Hershey is enjoying a bounce today. In spite of his bounce, he is feeling good! I've seen him skidding through the house chasing Oreo, he's pooped and eaten. I have not seen him grooming, but I did spend some time grooming him with the Furminator. (I fear grooming him has aggravated my breathing...not sure what to do about that...) I was sitting at the computer (by the window) looking out at the beautiful sunshine, when Hershey silently bounded in my lap, purring and nuzzling against my hand. This time last year, IF he was going to attempt to jump in my lap, it would've been accompanied by a good deal of noise and you couldn't hear him purr. So, YAY!!

THANKS, again, to all who visited last night offering advice, words of encouragement and even to the one who fibbed to me. ;-) And, thank you for visiting us today! :-D

that was some fast bounce-clearage. :mrgreen:

Better get some early tests tonight. He dropped quite a bit in the past two hours so he might still have some good momentum going.

Ooo - a yellow bounce, I want! :lol: Very nice job last night Libby. I hope you and Hershey both got some sleep today.

I second what Wendy said I would love a yellow bounce as I have gotten a red one tonight! Ugh! HOpe the dosecrease holds, paws crossed! Very nice recovery tonight! Have a great rest of your Sunday!

Hey, Libby - I took your suggestion and did a +2, instead of +3. Guess his depot is still depleting. Yes, I was surprised to see the bounce seeming to clear so quickly. Not sure what to make of that.

Hey, Wendy - Yellow bounces are not the norm for Hershey, but then, what is 'the norm' for Hershey? confused_cat Well, HE got some sleep this afternoon...

Hey, Michelle - Sorry about that yucky red bounce. :sad: Thanks for the reducie well-wishes. Trying not to be prematurely optimistic.

Oh you silly kitty! You're supposed to let your mama bean have an easy night!!! Sorry he's not listening to you, Libby. :sad: But I do love hearing how much better he's doing since last year. Hope he let's you get a little sleep tonight and hope he depletes some of that shed really soon so that you can get a normal nights sleep! Blessings to you and the family!

Running low on strips. Bought Relion Prime to try out since strips are SO much cheaper. Planned to compare the two a couple of times before switching full-time. So, here's the first comparision.

can't get much closer than that in the very low range...
it'll be interesting to see how they compare in higher ranges.

Somebody has a full tank of insulin! Since we know its depot, I'd get him up as fast as you can. He's shown he can clear the bounce fast :-D I'm not so worried about the 40s as him dropping back into the 30s.

Hey, Marje - Thanks. Seems I'm a little foggy tonight. Sundays are usually a little harder on me, but I think the last few nights are catching up, too. Having to type everything twice - trying to visit condos and can't understand what I'm reading. I've been talking to Hershey the last few minutes, trying to make him understand. We'll see.

Must get a little sleep. Not sure if I'll make it up for a test before AMPS...Feel pretty okay about leaving him until AMPS since it's been almost 2 hours since he ate and he's risen 15 points...


ETA: Fog must be thicker than I realized. I was thinking shot time was 3am, so only 3 hours from. It's 5am, so 5 hours from now. Will try to get up to test 1 - 2am... @-) @-) @-)
 
Hey, Michelle - Thanks for coming over. I do like seeing those greens, but wish he'd give the more exciting cycles during the daytime hours! Of course, where would be the fun in that ?! :lol:
