Woo-wee! That's a pretty big drop! Hope Elian doesn't drop too much more. A nice surf would be great! Hope you guys have a wonderful Sunday!

Thanks Deborah - gotta keep a close eye on him. Since we're still so new to this I'm a nervous mom! I have to run out for a few minutes but will come right back and test him again. I'm pretty sure the food will give him an increase at least until I get back!

Big drop early in the cycle. Keep an eye on him. Even if he gets a rise from the food he could drop again. Yeah, he's gonna bounce but good news is his pre shot was lower :)
 
Nice 50's surf. A little bit higher would be nicer. Any update Susie?

Something you might want to do is keep track of how much of what food you feed Elian when he is in the greens like this. I add that info to the SS. Then when Elian goes low again, you can see what worked before.
 
Hi guys what a great green surf today, it is always nerve wracking when they go low. HOpe you don't get the big B tonight like we did! Have a great rest of your Sunday!
 
Sorry it took so long for an update - he's all the way back up again - 370 @ +11.5. He stopped off at 70 +6 and 104 +8. He'll be getting his shot at 9:20 and I will keep an eye on him again tonight. Thanks for all of your help and concern!
 
Wendy - re: food - I feed all four of my boys at the same time. I divide 2 cans of Fancy Feast Classic between four bowls. I feed after amps and pmps and once, sometimes twice, in between and then I usually open one more can for overnight so nobody is starving. They've spent their lives free feeding on dry food along with two meals of wet per day. I took away all dry the day of Elian's diagnosis - about 7 weeks ago. They only get FF classics and Halo treats.
 
Hi Susie, sorry about the bounce, but at least he spent a good part of the day in really numbers and that will become more common. For food, I meant to keep track of any extra food you give him to help him surf. I hope you have a good night with Elian.
