Yesterday's Condo

After last evening's lovely blue surf, I was expecting a bounce this morning, but I guess the subqs are still helping Cinco stay down. Makes me wonder if I should be giving them more often. He hasn't seemed dehydrated, but he did perk up some afterwards. His urine output hasn't increased since I gave the fluids, which makes me think he was dehydrated, after all. We did increase to 2.5 this morning, and I'm wondering if I should hold off on more fluids till at least tomorrow afternoon so I can see if there is any alteration in his BG from the dosecrease, without the influence of extra fluids. This is a very difficult dance sometimes, isn't it? And I'm not a good dancer at all. :lol:

So, Cinco wants to hang out with Chyna again today? I hope that we can both get some sleep tonight ;-)

I wonder about the subqs too for my girl, and I'm a good dancer! Not so much anything in a pattern like two step, just freestyle...not so much sugar dance either :roll: . Or maybe after a few adult beverages, I just think I am good :lol: . Anyhoo, next month is her bloodwork...I guess I'll have to try feel her gums and do the snap back fur test... :? So many things to check for our babies!

I hope Cinco shows he can work that new juice! Good luck :-D
 
Thanks for the visits, Mariko, Rachel and Carla. Yes, Cinco looked good today, didn't he? Not sure what to make of tonight's +5.5 (Monday is bowling night, so no idea what he was doing before then). Was it a fur shot? A bounce? Who knows? confused_cat I'm not sure what Lantus smells like, but I noticed an odor right after the dh gave Cinco his injection this evening and wondered. His fur wasn't wet, so maybe it was just my imagination.

When we got home from bowling, Cinco was ready to eat, and eat and eat! Until I gave him his eye drops, and then he crawled off into a corner and pouted, stopping on the way to leave a nice, healthy, stinky prezzie in the litter box! :o :lol:
Only three more days of the AB and then :?:

I had the same problem the other day not knowing if I missed since Scooters fur was dry. I did however smell it. Thinking I should shave his neck a bit so I can see it. :lol:
