Yesterday evening was an interesting one, all our power went off shortly after Zener's +1 and was off for an hour or so. We played a rousing game of tent (where Zener gets by our legs under a blanket we have over us) by candlelight. Once our power came back on, our internet was out until this morning. We felt more "cut off" by that than by having no electricity. Isn't that pitiful?
Yesterday's Condo
1/31/12 Zener
~11 1/4 Reglan & 1/5PP
AMPS 315,2nd cycle @1.5u, 1.5oz 8% + 1/16t miralax
10 minutes later barf - very sour smelling. Went outside and came back with blade of grass hanging out of mouth
+0.5 2.5mg Pepcid with 1mL water
+1 220, 0.55oz 11% with 2 drops karo, 1/16t miralax (since puked up first) with fortiflora
+1.5 196, 0.55oz 11% with 2 drops karo, fortiflora
+2 0.139, 6oz 11% with 2 drops karo & 2 treats
+2.5 151, 1/2PP with 3 mg Zobaline. 0.6oz 11%
+3 173, 0.25oz 8%, 0.35oz 11%
+5 152, 0.5oz 11%
+6 0.5oz 11%
+7.5 1/5PP with 1/4 Reglan
~8 0.75oz 11%
+10.5 263, FDCK
PMPS 340, 3rd cycle @1.5u, 1.35oz 11%, 1/16 t miralax
+1 360, 1/5PP with 2.5mg Pepcid, 0.8oz 11%

Not a very complete PM cycle as we had no power, then no internet, but I have his SS up-to-date now.

Today
2/1/12 Zener
@+11 1/4 Reglan, 1/8PP
AMPS 362, 4th cycle @1.5u, 2.5mg Pepcid & 1/4PP, 1.65oz 9%
+1 444, FDCK - since he ate so well at AMPS and numbers were high, fed a little freeze dried chicken
+2.5 397, 0.55oz 10%
+4.5 436, 0.5oz 10%
+5 0.8oz 11%
+7.5 1/8PP & 1/4 Reglan
8 0.9oz 11% - don't like to feed this late in the cycle but appy was not so great this am and needed to get in some calories

With me being home sick (still) and Liz working very hard at school, and power/internet outtage we are way behind in getting Zener's condo up today. Although his numbers are icky-poo, he seems to be feeling okay. Did a very thorough rounds of the backyard and decided about mid-cycle he was ready to eat. We don't like to feed this late, but he is still dropping weight, so wanted to get calories in him. Will probably play heck with his numbers, oh well. He has also decided he no longer likes the fancy feast chunky chicken 5%, that we like to mix with his 11% to get to a lower carb. Again, with his eating issues lately, we feel like we have to go with what he will eat and if that means a dosecrease, then that's what we will do. Time will tell.

@Amy - Zener's appy is a constant challenge. I am feeling a little better but when back to the doc today and they started me on ABs for a sinus infection. Good grief, it's been one thing after another - and all in my head! Hmmm, wonder what that means?

@Patty - Zener likes to give us challenges. He is such a good boy and works with us no matter what we do to him, he is such a trooper.

Today's icky numbers seem to be a bounce off yesterday morning's cycle, when he had some lovely blues but a darn big drop from AMPS to +1. :YMSIGH: Paws crossed tonight looks a little better, or tomorrow, or the next day...

Re: 2/1 Zener AMPS 362; +1 444; +2.5 397;+4.5 436 power off

Poor Zener paying the piper for last night's dance. Come on down boy. What can you do? He's got to eat.

I hope you're getting better Anne.

Re: 2/1 Zener AMPS 362; +1 444; +2.5 397;+4.5 436 power off

Ugh on today but what a nice day yesterday. Hope Mr Z kicks Mr L in the face. No power is no fun is your weather bad? It was a balmy 70 here today. Healing vines to you Anne and for Zener's tummy and a big wave to Liz!

Re: 2/1 Zener AMPS 362; +1 444; +2.5 397;+4.5 436 power off

Anne, I hope you are feeling better soon. Definitely not happy numbers for Zener today and I hope he starts eating better. Simon will also eat something for a little bit but then will decide he hates it. If I wait a week or two, he will start eating it again. Maybe Zener will do the same thing.

Re: 2/1 Zener PMPS 400

Well, it's been a flat cycle, but yeesh... grr_red
Today

@+11 1/4 Reglan, 1/8PP
AMPS 362, 4th cycle @1.5u, 2.5mg Pepcid & 1/4PP, 1.65oz 9%

+7.5 1/8PP & 1/4 Reglan
+8 0.9oz 11% - don't like to feed this late in the cycle but appy was not so great this am and needed to get in some calories
+9 FDCK
+10.5 FDCK, negative ketones
PMPS 5th cycle @1.5u, 1.7oz 11% & 1/16t Miralax

Appy a bit better tonight at PMPS. Seems to be drinking a bit more today with these high numbers which look like a bounce off yesterday morning. Zener does not seem to be feeling bad, just a little low energy with the high numbers. Still no word from our vet about anti-nausea meds, she is also out sick with the same crud I have. He had a nice picnic outside tonight before it got too cold. :-D

I am slowly recovering, Liz is busy and the poor kitties need lots more petting than what they get. And I have to leave town early Friday morning until Sunday morning for work, so Liz is solo bean in charge again this weekend (and next, another work trip). We are just too darn busy these days!

@Linda - yes, we think this is a bounce off yesterday too. Eating is always a struggle.

@Melissa & Mr T - double ugh on today. We have our paws crossed Zener gets Mr L under control, he has such trust issues! We don't know why our power went out, the weather here was very mild for the end of January and no weather issues. It was our entire neighborhood and we saw a power trunk at the entrance this morning, looks like transformer work.

@Georgia - I am slowly recovering and it is so busy right now I can hardly afford to take any more time off from work. Good idea about waiting a few weeks and trying again with the food. In the meantime, we will feed the one thing he will eat! ;-)

Once again, we are not getting around to visiting condos like we want to. We sure appreciate everyone dropping by even though we are lax in that department right now. We appreciate your support and healing wishes for us all! :YMHUG:

Re: 2/1 Zener PMPS 400;+1 454

Food spikes look so awful from way up here. grr_red At least he IS eating.

PMPS 5th cycle @1.5u, 1.7oz 11% & 1/16t Miralax
+1 454, 0.4oz 11%, 1/2PP with 3mg Zobaline

@Julie - thanks for the happy place e-visit, much needed! We have paws crossed things are on the upswing! @-)

Re: 2/1 Zener PMPS 400;+1 454;+2.5 341

Ever now 'n then, pink looks nice.
PMPS 5th cycle @1.5u, 1.7oz 11% & 1/16t Miralax
+1 454, 0.4oz 11%, 1/2PP with 3mg Zobaline
+2.5 341, 1.2oz 11%

Zener and Tillie are both outside and it's dark, a very wild evening for them! :-D Zener has left the red floor for now and for that, we are grateful!

Liz and I are enjoying our power and internet very much tonight and feeling far more connected! ;-)

Re: 2/1 Zener PMPS 400;+1 454;+2.5 341

pathetically enough, if i had to choose between no electricity and no internet, i'd choose no electricity. i like my internet!

oooooooooo (that's an excited sound) the kiddles are outside on an adventure in the dark! that's cool. probably appeals to their wild side! see the crazy tigers out hunting for prey.

Looks like a stinkus pinkus cycle, but that beats the AM grr_red cycle.
PMPS 5th cycle @1.5u, 1.7oz 11% & 1/16t Miralax
+1 454, 0.4oz 11%, 1/2PP with 3mg Zobaline
+2.5 341, 1.2oz 11%
~3.5 1/5PP with 1/4 Reglan
+4 387, 0.75oz 11%

This could be a bit of a spike from the pill pocket he ate about 20 minutes before the test, didn't get my timing down on that one.

@Julie - we were a bit shocked when the power went off since there was no weather or near-by construction work. Once we sorted out candles and such, we were fine - until we realized - NO INTERNET! :o

The kitties had a nice nighttime adventure. When we called them in, they went on a "chase the kitty" dash down the hallway. Despite Zener's icky numbers, he feels good enough to chase Tillie! :-D

Hope everyone has a peaceful and restful night. Ni Ni LL. I-)

You know it's been a rough day when pink looks pretty    I hope you are feeling better tomorrow, Anne - at least you don't have to stay up with him! Not much of a bright side, I know...
