Zener is fine this morning. Appy is not completely happy as I had to open a second flavor and chase him around a bit but he did eat ok. Hopefully this is just a little bounce from green yesterday. Who knows. I can't understand why I even try to figure him out any more. Must be my inner German. :lol: :lol: :lol: I am feeling fine, seem to be recovered from whatever bug I had last weekend. Thank you for all of your good wishes. :-D :-D

Thinking of sick LL kitties: punkin, Fitzel, Cleo, Ruben, Moonie, Mannie and others that I haven't kept up with. TGIF!

Morning Liz, it looks like Zener and Mags are on the same page with their AMPS! Sending appy vines to Zener. I was waiting to see if the end of the chasing around with fuds bowl would end up on the bed with Anne! :lol: I hope he's eating. Glad you're feeling better and sending more vines. It seems like the viruses take a really long time to recover and finally start feeling better. Have a nice day.

Interesting what we do to get them to eat when they are reluctant, or just plain want to do things their way. Rusty is a grazer and often will just eat some and then go off to chillax. Then he will come back at some point and--usually--finish his food. Edward has taken to putting Rusty's bowl of unfinished food on a placemat in the living room and inviting him to come to finish. If I do this, Rusty will just look at me. If Edward does it, he comes over and eats. Go figure!

Glad you are feeling better, Liz. Do you have any snow? Have a great weekend. The Z Man is coming down in a nice, gradual slide. Maybe the lagoon later?

Now all she will eat is the FF kitten ocean white fish, and little ff chick. & liver, but every day is a challenge lately! We are their servants..They have us trained confused_cat the little darlings!

Nice start to the slide for today! Hopefully the appy is happy by now. I hear ya, though...I don't know why we keep trying to figure these kitties out, when we all know it's their job to keep us guessing :roll: :lol: !

Looks like Z is on the slide. Tummy massage helped get appy going. His tummy feels almost hard and we use a little direct pressure in at that V of the ribs and breastbone and stroke down gently. Sometimes just holding the pressure, you will feel the tummy relax. Our AC tells us that Zener says his tummy just doesn't move things through sometimes, like cramps. High temp today is 50, no snow in the near future and what we had is pretty much gone in town. Yard rounds in progress. :razz:

@Ann & Maggie - Mags and Zener are following the same path today. Chasing with the fuds bowl did end up on the bed with me. :lol:

@Josie & Ripley - our kitties did give up on figuring us out, we're not that interesting. :lol: Zener told us last year our new year's resolution should be "pet more, worry less"!

@Ella & Rusty - they do love to do it their way! :lol: Zener is the same as Rusty, if one of us chases him with the bowl, he looks at it like we're trying to poison him. Then we wait a few minutes and the other of us gives it to him and he eats it. :roll: We don't really care, as long as he eats! Z is on the gradual slide as requested! And no snow for us in town, we are warming up and sunny. The snow up on the mountain above 9000 feet is spectacular, we've been told by skiing friends.

@Roni & Moonie - time will tell if the lagoon is in Z's future. :cool: We are definitely the humble servants. :lol: Fuds frustration will make the beans crazy. :twisted:

@Amy & TrixieCat - appy is better after tummy massage. Our kitties are pros at keeping the beans guessing! :razz:

You know, Shnookie loves belly rubs - I wonder if that's why he eats so much!! :lol: :lol: Maybe I should stop giving them? ;-) All kidding aside, I'm glad you guys figured out that technique and that it really seems to help Zener. Glad to hear you've gotten over that virus, Liz. Hope you ladies have a wonderful day.

Mr. Z! Oh u haz NIIIICE numbers tuday!! Pretty numbers for a pretty boy!

Grams - Miss Schniggles/Pugsley has new clothes today! She's in heat again, I made her a diaper that fits a poise pad, right now I tied it over her back but that was just to see how it fit and wore, I'll use velcro to make her 'offical' pair. I wasn't sure if she'd leave it on or not but have a feeling she's worn diapers before, she hasn't even paid attention to it. Sure makes the mess easier to control!!! Doggie diapers are WAY too expensive and not really needed.... :-D She's cute in them......

I'm glad the tummy massage helped Zener's appy. It's funny how picky our kitties can be. Sometimes Furball has to be coaxed to eat, but what I do that works one day won't work the next time. They love to keep us on our toes.

Liz I'm glad you're over the virus you had.

Haven't posted on your condo in a bit, but it doesn't mean I stopped caring :YMHUG: Looks like the Z man had a pretty good day! Hopefully he can bring it down again for the pm cycle. Hope it's not too wet & muddy up there - I'm ready for Spring already! Have a great night, guys!
