Great news that the dental went well. Hoping that one tooth might have been the source of his numbers. Are you shooting tonight? It might take a bit to refill his shed...just a bit.

Is he eating and feeling ok? In some cats, the tramadol can make them a little hyper. If it does, ask your vet for buprenex or buprenorphine.

i'll bet you're glad to have that behind you! getting punkin's dental done made me nervous and it's about time to have another one done. i'm wanting to put it off and know i shouldn't. *sigh*

hopefully mikey will get right back on track with his BG. glad they gave him some pain meds, just in case it's hurting him.

I'm glad the dental went well, and Mikey is home where he feels much more comforable than that yucky smelling vetty place he was at today. I often heard to keep them in a quiet darker room until the affects of the anethesia wears off.

I will see how he does with the tramadol, thanks for the info Marje.,

He is in his room with only the nightlight on, the bright light is hard on his eyes and the door closed do the others don't bother him

I lost my dog as a puppy years back while getting neutered so anytime they go under anesthesia is very traumatizing

i can only imagine - that would be hard to let any other pet get anesthesia. you're a trooper for getting mikey's dental done. hugs!

Its always great news to hear a dental went smoothly! I hope Mikey recovers and his mouth is feeling great in no time.

That is such a relief all went well. :-D Watch out for the pudding poo - clavamox affected Zener that way.
