I think Mikey must have had a really late nadir last night because when I went to bed at his +5, he wasn't even in the 200s yet. Not sure if that's going to make his AM nadir earlier or later or not affect it at all, but I'm going to run home at lunch again today to test him anyway. I guess I'm just still surprised that this dose seems to be working so well for so long with him.
Yesterday afternoon, I tried mixing the last half of it with food, but he didn't finish about 10% of the food, so I hope he got all the medicine. I tried it again this morning and he still had about a quarter of his food left. Since I had to go to work, I'm just hoping that he got most of it in him and that Michelangelo doesn't eat the rest (or if he does, he doesn't get any of the medicine). It'll be easier this weekend to separate them for Henry's Daily Medicinal Feeding to make sure he eats the whole thing, but sticking it in his food is way less traumatic for both of us. Thanks for the suggestion!
The whole reason why his previous owner couldn't keep the kittens is because she was recently diagnosed with kidney failure and couldn't afford it. Since both of my previous cats died of CKD/CRF, I thought it was even more of a sign that Henry belonged with us, even if he wasn't technically on death row.
The worst is the leftover banana peel! My roommates know that if they ever want to have a banana, they either have to eat it at work or at school or they have to make sure I never find out about it by walking their peel all the way out to the dumpster! Can't really tell my coworkers to do that, though. :? I have one coworker that will sometimes have a banana for breakfast and by lunch, I'm gagging! By mid-afternoon, I'm already contemplating leaving early or working from home for the rest of the day.... All because of a banana peel!

Good luck getting the meds into henry .. and I can't believe I've found someone else with the same hatred as me for bananas!! I can't stand the smell of them either and only occassionally let peter bring one or two into the house but they must be eaten right away before they *gag* start to rot and stink up the joint!!
