Ah ok, thank you for explaining. Makes much more sense to my brain now! Hopefully it will stay more clearly in my head now I understand the idea behind it. When I first heard the term cycle, I felt sure it must mean a 24 hour period and therefore 2 shots.
 
I didnt actually take any more tests after the plus 2. The plus 2 was hopeful for an active cycle but by +3 he was fast asleep and hadn't eaten his +3, nor +4, so I knew he wasnt gong low. I totally meant to get a +6 but I forgot. But looking at him, im pretty sure he hasnt been in greens today. He's been a bit tired and groggy poor fella. So 2.6 it is
 
I am going out tonight but will make sure I am back by +3 - +3.5 as hes starting new dose. Do you think it should be +3 at the latest?
