Hi Petty, Sorry to hear about Maria's health issues--I hope you can get some good answers here about a dose increase.

Go back to your edit title and select the "prefix" carrot and add the question mark. That way the mods will see that you have a question. Have a good day!

Hi Petty! Sorry about Maria's results. Did they do an ultrasound? I am sorry, I did not keep tracxk, I will read your previous posts.
I think you have room for an increase, she's been in higher greens and blues for the last 4 days at this dose, except for that 71 yesterday evening. If it was my cat, I think I might wait one more day, to see if she will show more lower greens.
Did your vet give a plan for what to do next? A biopsy, or treatment?

Maria's examinations showed increased burden in the pancreas and minimal diffuse fluid in the abdomen. Also thickening of the intestine, which is twice as large as normal.
I'm going to tag @Wendy&Neko for her advice - she has experience with both IBD and SCL.

As you can see, her blood sugar rises for these reasons. Would an increase in insulin be good?
I think an increase would be good to bring down her numbers overall. You could wait till she has been on this dose for 10 cycles/5 days before increasing.

Some vets (like mine) can feel thickening in the bowel walls (intestine). But typically follow up is with a ultrasound. Was one done already? Next step, depending on where the inflammation is, could be either a surgical biopsy or an endoscopy, to grab a sample to send away for analysis if this is IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) or SCL (small cell lymphoma). Both are treatable but the treatments are a bit different. A cat can go into remission from SCL. IBD treatment is usually a good probiotic and a novel protein, meaning a type of meat they've never eaten before. SCL needs some medications.

Maria has had 2 ultrasounds the first one a month ago and it has gotten worse. Maria also has pancreatitis, high indicators in the liver and felv. The doctor said that an anesthetic wouldn't do her any good so we'll treat it conservatively
