HAPPY FRIDAY, even though it's actually Saturday already...

Sorry for the uber late post but the day completely got away from me. The crud that I spent 4 weeks battling and thought gone for almost a week, seems to be back. I think I had it down to a sinus infection that I can't get rid of. Jessica thinks it's because my asthma isn't well-controlled. We're babysitting Sammy on Sunday night and I certainly don't want to share anything with him! I started first thing this morning attacking with orange juice, water, nasal irrigation, saline spray, honey/grape juice, cold/flu tablets, extra rest and by night had added Cold-Eeze lozenges (Okay, I only managed to get one of those in me - nasty!) and vinegar/water/honey (not tasty for someone who does NOT like vinegar or honey!). Will add Nyquil tonight and repeat the process tomorrow. But, enough about me...

It amazes me to look at Hershey now and remember how he was a year ago. He was greasy, didn't groom, slept a lot, didn't play, didn't jump on the higher furniture (like beds, back of chairs), drank a lot. Now, he's uber soft and fluffy, naps a normal amount (unless it's cold or rainy), romps and plays, jumps wherever he pleases, and the only time the water bowl gets used is by Oreo as a perch for patrolling out the window!

All P's in place, including the smelly poo. I told Jessica I didn't know WHO he ate...she said, "It was somebody mean!" :lol: He's never been one to cover it, wants to bless allll our noses! :lol: Now that I've told you more than you EVER wanted to know...

Hershey stayed yellow AM cycle and I was afraid he had read yesterday's condo where I fessed up that I wasn't really going to do a dosecrease this week knowing we'd be gone Sunday...but, besides the food-inflated +3, even the yellow was close to blue, so YAY!

It's wonderful to hear about Libby's improvement since a year ago. And, I noticed an almost green every other day on Libby's condo! Great job, mombean!

Good grief, Hershey needs to be taking care of you! ;-) Isn't it so amazing to see such improvement? Makes all the work seems so worth it! cat_pet_icon

Hey, Helen - Thanks for the well-wishes. I don't like being the sick one when there are things everybody just expects mama is taking care of. At least Doug is off this week-end and he's a BIG help!! Yes, ma'am, Hershey has been seeing more greens than usual lately. I could get used to it!

Hey, Anne - I'll tell Hershey what you said, but won't hold my breath on him taking care of me! :lol: Honestly, this time last year I wouldn't have believed it possible for him to be so much better. You're right, it does make it worth it! Thanks for the well-wishes. It's frustrating when you're throwing your whole arsenal at it, but not gaining much ground.

Was going to go to bed after the +7.75(54), but I just kept thinking of how late his nadir has been lately. Feel better that I checked, again.

Hey, Carl - You did say 3am, didn't you? :lol: Going to call it 3am now, since AMPS is scheduled for 3:55am. We should be safe, 'cuz I don't think Hershey can tell time...yet...I was happy to see the green, but earlier would've been great! Wish I had known about the lozenges before I bought them. I had friend HIGHLY recommend the Cold-Eeze tablets. I saw the lozenges and was thinking - oh, cherry, like Ludens, NOT!
