Morning, everyone! I'm up and working on the paper, and will be out of here at 5:45...therefore, shot will be a tad early this morning. 'S'all right, sometimes stuff like this happens, you know? She did spike at PMPS+1=417, but...since she's lower now, I am hopeful that the rebound will clear rapidly and she will see some lower numbers today..

As for Esse, she was in the bathroom window when I got up...and is now sitting in her bowl...bright eyed, and just a happy girl. There wasn't much food out, so I put out a wee snackus, and she ate...but it should be clear by 5:45, and we'll get a decent AMPS.

*She* is, Amy, not me. I'm a bit on the headachy side...LOL, and my tail isn't 'bushy', it's just wide and...round. LOLOL.

I was quite happy to see the low 3's, but I also know that Esse can spike fast - and drop equally fast; I just wish she hadn't rebounded. Not sure what I did to get the low numbers, so am not sure how to replicate it...I hope Esse remembers, and decides to talk sternly to Mr. Liver...it was weird that she was so low for so long, and then blammo, up the ladder she went. It's like her liver said "hey - I held back as long as I could, but WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!".

We'll see what the rest of the morning holds, and then what tonight holds...hopefully, Mr. Liver will take a chillpill and relax a bit.

Amy and Dyana, the headache thingy will go away...sometimes I wake with one, but it usually goes away pretty quickly. Not a bad one, more like a very subtle protest about being awake at such an hour. LOL...

Bo, I'm in my last semester of nursing school. It will stop in the end of May - until then, it's crazy and stressful and crazy-making. M/T/W/T I'm at school latest 6:30 am, and don't tend to get back inside until about 6 pm...between class and floor hours and study group, I can forget if I'm coming, going, or spinning in circles. LOL...I tend to drop out during the weekends...and I'm glad you "enjoyed" the description of my permenent pillow fanny...sadly, though, it's true. Although, it does provide good cushion for me. LOL!

I have to say that we may not like the bounce but your earlier comment y'day about summed it up.
It was the longest string of nice surfing you had seen, so I would have to say that Esse is starting to feel more comfy with those pretty numbers, and that would be a good sign, right?

Let's see if you can do the same thing today - try on the nice numbers for longer, but let's scrap the bounce, OK? ;-)

Yes, these are long days...and yes, Esse (and the rest) are happy to see me when I come home...but I think that's more because I'm seen as the food fairy rather than any personal adoration on their parts (they're CATS, after all...).

I am headed out the door...hope everyone has good days...good numbers...and easy workloads.

Ronnie, the day I had was incredibly intense and busy...the good thing is that a)it's over now, and b)no-one died [including me and my instructor...although I really wanted to whack her a good one...]. Other than that, it's all a big, crazy blur. It's one of those days where you just keep on keeping on...knowing that eventually the sun will set, so the day has to be done with...and that anything would be better than this.

BUT! It's over...I'm home, laundry is running, I've fed the herd, shot Esse full of insulin (although late...but she'll survive), and I'm looking for those chocolate covered raisins from Trader Joes - I bought some kettle corn, but I already ate that (ahem...yesterday).

It's time to get a glass of milk, and put my feet up, and just relax so I can destress enough to actually go to sleep so I can get up at 4 am and do all of this over again tomorrow. Oh joy.

I don't actually want to be a 4am riser...I just have to be at school or the hospital by 6:45 4 days a week...LOL.

Esse is, at the moment, hanging in her bowl, just watching me type. She's a happy, content little kitty...and I am heading to bed. LOL, it was a long, rough day and I need to lay my weary head to rest...preferably with 9 kitties surrounding me so I can be nice and snuggled and warm...
