18 Oct 2022 - Whiskey AMPS=110 + 2.5=63 +3=61 +4=70 PMPS=140 +2=97 +3=70

so, after the pancreas panic bounce yesterday, we are back in greens with a bang, going to try to hold my nerve and keep her safe with LC, although a 50% drop at AM+2.15 is quite scary!

There's no need to panic. As long as you are monitoring you have the means to keep her safe. I was asking you to intervene with carbs to flatten the curve :-)
It's possible she may not need them though, so let's see the +2.5 ish.

thanks Bhooma, I saw your message at about +3 (I'd made a mistake in the subject, 63 was actually at +2.5, have corrected it now), so I tested again at +3 and the LC slowed it a bit, but didn't stop it (61), so I gave her some MC for a little snack at +3, will check again at about +3.5.

63 and 61 are pretty much the same number. So she is flat between +2.5 and +3. What is your MC%? I think you can take a break and test at +4. The MC will give her a little boost.

It is Whiskas Gravy Pouches, I would have to look it up, it typically doesn't push her very high when she's dropping, hence my assumption of MC - will look up now, and test at +4.

Basing my MC estimate on this spreadsheet of UK foods: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1J5JpMe6TDXrHq_aTl9hUtHy6Gs9oRBqlz4nPGKxtySA/pubhtml#

Have taken an excerpt screenshot for Whiskas with headings and pasted below.

I feed her Whiskas 1 or 7+ years Pouches in jelly (not casserole or pure delights) depending on what I can get (they are showing here as about 2.9%), the Whiskas 1+ and 7+ pouches in Gravy ones show as 5.8%, hence my use of MC for them.

Oh that's low carb then. Only 5.8% carbs. MC is between 10 and 15%.
Thanks, I generally find it pushes her up a bit more than the jelly variety or the Bon Appetit which are the daily meals I rotate; which is why I steer away for it as daily food (although she LOVES it), and I find it is a nice stabilizer for her when she's dropping without pushing her too high :) ... So today it has pushed her to 70 at +4, so I will stay with LC until +6 when she's hungry enough for 3rd breakfast ;)

Nice surf! Now that she's higher, you can stop feeding her unless she is hungry or develops stomach acid from long gaps in meals.
Thanks, I will probably give her a meal at about +5.5 as I have a client meeting at their offices which coincides with +6, and need to feed her again at about +8 so she can surf until PMPS test.

She sometimes doesn't come to the auto feeder for her +6ish meal if I am out, and then there is a risk that everything goes out of whack for the afternoon.
