We've had a good day so far today! It's been raining and much colder than it should be in the summer time so Mo seems to be much more comfortable. I went out to get him some more Feline Natural's food and while I was out he went outside via the cat door AND when I came home, I see him sitting on Tim's lap while he's working!!!!! I brought food to Mo because, you know, he's royalty in this house and he gobbled up half of it and is still on Tim's lap purring away happily. YAY! Paws crossed he continues on this path :D

I called the specialists office regarding the Levemir and they said it should be in Tomorrow or the next day but since they can only order it in a pack of 5, they asked if it was okay because we will be paying $375 NZ for it. I said it's fine because there is no way we will be going back to Lantus after switching.

I will do an afternoon BG test when he comes out from Tim's office.

Hope you're all having a wonderful day :bighug:

That is a terrible price. I used to get the 5 pen pack of Levemir from the pharmacy with a vet script for $94.00. I would have thought Aust and NZ were pretty much on a parr for things like that.
I can’t imagine why it is taking so long as it should be freely available at any pharmacy.
Why don’t you ring a pharmacy to see what the cost of a 5 pen pack is.?

I’m glad he is feeling better.

I think it's because Levemir isn't funded in NZ, which is why the price is so steep. But TBH I don't really know...
