He's heading in the wrong direction again.
I have the feeling that, after his dental surgery on Monday, he'll be back on insulin.

So his levels have come down 2.5 hours after eating which hopefully means his pancreas is still working?

Could be!

If he's got some dental issues, that could be the only thing that's making his numbers go up. Hopefully once the dental is over, he'll settle back down soon

I don't think I'd restart insulin just yet

I know nothing about remission but hope one day with a lot of luck will. My reasoning would be that once the dental is taken care of Boomer will return to the kind of green numbers you have come to expect. I hope I am right and that the dental goes well.

Not sure that it's the dental issues causing this. I still think it's the stress that caused it. Not considering starting insulin until after the dental on monday and I'll see what his levels do next week. AND....he didn't have a urine culture the other day because he had just peed prior to going to the dr so he will have that done prior to the surgery so who knows...maybe its an infection. If so, that's an easy fix!

I'm really happy to say that his level is 92 prior to dinner; really happy to see him back in the green!

Boomer how about coming down and staying down? Anything in the green would make me happy. :)
