Hercules is doing again! Is this a record for biggest drop in a day?

I am really lost about what is going on, I was on the verge of thinking this was a failed reduction, and then he does this?! He is going to bounce, isn't he? Should I shoot him this evening or not?

Mariette, did Buddy also did more bouncing? He had been relatively stable on blue green when we were at 0.75U, we reduced it, and he start going much higher, and dropping really fast? :confused:

BTW I had to feed him at +11, so usual PMPS reading will not be very informative....

No, Buddy didn't really kick up high when I started reducing him. But he was also on a much higher dose.

With the video metaphor I was clumsily trying to say that things never really go according to our plans. I had ambitions of bringing Buddy down nice and stable like how I took him up. But it felt like I was trying to land a plane in stormy weather with no experience.

I can't give you advice on Hercules unfortunately. But to me it does look like he's coming down in his insulin need... just in a bumpy way.
 
PMPS: 81 (after honey...), so I gave him the full dose and will monitor him closely. I am a bit more rested today (famous last words...)
 
Not a record, but Herc is showing a good part of the rainbow. My girl, aka Rainbow Queen, earned her first reduction from 430 and was known to go black to green in a day. :rolleyes:

Looks like he came up to a shootable number. :D
 
@Yuling & Casper - my brain is fried, but I know at some time recently I went for 12 small meals in the day. I am not sure if you can do this, but I think this may have helped a bit with the bouncing? Who knows?
