Hi everyone

Sorry I am very late in posting up remi's condo. Here is yesterday which was a bit of a roller coaster

viewtopic.php?f=9&t=128396

Today has been a relatively quiet day in regards blood glucose levels I think because he is now used to the. 0.50 dose and the she'd has drained a little and so I decided I would clean and clear the house of clutter as much as possible to help remi's asthma. I made sure I took a few late readings and it looks fairly static today.

I have started to have a look at some new food for remi that has just a few more carbs but I find it a little confusing having to try to work out the % calories from the various bits. I am sure there is a good website that can make the process much easier. Could someone post a link.

Basically if someone could point me in the direction of a single source protein food (chicken maybe) that has no grains and a protein content of about 55 % with a fat content of about 30- 40% and carb content of say 4 or 5 % that I can buy in the Uk that would be great :-D :-D :-x

Thanks Tiff and Tricia for the links.

I really wish we had access to the some of the food you do in the US. Typically the brand I am looking at isn't on that list but I think I know what it contains except for the phosphorus.

Remi seems to be having a flat run of greens today so I don't think we are any the wiser about whether the sudden drops at +2 are early drops or late nadirs. Are we? I am tempted to not test him again tonight as the poor boys ears are abit bruised form the last few days. Not sure whether I will worry too much if I don't though.

He's still dropping, albeit slowly. I'd probably get a +4 at least, if you can. Are you putting something with pain relief on his ears? I think I asked you about it before but I have a dreadful memory!

The crf list has a UK list as well. Helen is from there and I think still lives there. I was so glad to see she finally added the carbs to her list.

Thanks for reminding me to take another reading. My and remi feel asleep on the sofa so I ended up getting a +6 and it was 103.

No we can't seem to get any pain relief cream for their ears in the uk. He is such a good boy, the only way I know it hurts is that his breathing changes for a second whilst I am doing it but he doesn't attempt to move away from me.
