Hey everyone so I just tested Diesel since it’s been like a week since I last tested. And he’s been OTJ since 11/19 and this is the highest number he’s been. I’m hoping to get some advice

thank you

Hi Kayla,

Have you tried a new food lately? Sometimes a particular ingredient can spike BG levels in some cats (e.g. soy protein), even if the food is low carb.

Sometimes an upward trend might be due to a rumbling health issue. Most obvious things to get checked out are potential UTI/other infection or issues with teeth/gums.

I gave him a different can of food but I did the carb percentage and it’s still low carb, and that was last night.

As I mentioned above, foods that are low carb may contain ingredients that don't agree with a particular cat. Perhaps check the ingredients in the new food against Diesel's regular foods?
