Hello lovely people
I didn't mean to fall off the grid but my life gets overwhelmed and overfull very easily and this is one of the things that gets squeezed out.
Minerva is now a good couple of weeks since her last dose of drugs, still happily eating a mix of FF and raw meat and organ patties, and seems to be fully back to herself (shaved spots aside). We are so pleased with how she is doing!!! Our thanks to everyone who helped us through that worrying time. And we have cerenia and mirtazapine on hand for rapid response should it happen again.
I was away last weekend and couldn't do a curve, but am doing one today, finally! Except it isn't a curve. It is a flat line, and a high one. I am very worried that I stuffed up administering her dose this morning and this is not good data. Or maybe this is exactly what has been happening all along?
So, should I use today's data? (Which would suggest a quarter unit increase?)
I also have realised that this batch of needles has been printed very inconsistently with the 0 mark anywhere from actually at 0 to maybe as much as a 1/4 quarter unit drawn down, even a smidge more. So I am going to change how I measure her doses to get better consistency I hope, using a manufacturing landmark rather than the 0 line. This may of course affect her readings but I will be doing a curve next weekend so she will have a week with the new measuring method.
Many thanks to everyone who helps!
