We can't quite believe how well this thing is going. If you look at the spread sheet can you flip to WORLD to see the colours? DH never got around to fixing it for the US. This morning's AMPs were prolly a bit high coz we coaxed him to eat going to bed with a sprinkling of biccies on his food. (only half a dozen for the smell).
I find myself worrying that he's got something wrong that he's not so interested in food any more. This is the least he's been eating for years. I suspect we were always over feeding him - so hopefully he's now grown used to smaller amounts. He's not losing dramatic amounts of weight. He still feels a big boy!
Also the itchy's remain a problem. He was never that fussed about grooming himself. He is licking himself way more than he used to and there are some spots that he's over doing and chewed fur off. I wonder whether the licking is a blessing in some ways as it means he gets exercise which is good for diabetes. He's off read meat which seemed to be making him worse. He's on free range chicken several times a day and one tin of fancy feast starting at 5am. He looks very healthy. We have so many visitors who are constantly commenting on LB's state of well-being. (people think we are eccentrics) I sent the vet the latest figures yesterday. I suggested LB may be his first cat to achieve remission from diabetes.
I am most appreciative for the comments and support I've received from the forum - without this site I am convinced my cat would not be doing anywhere nearly as well.
