All good news. When you have him in lovely numbers and stabilized, you might send the spreadsheet to the vet and show him what a change in diet and home testing can do. It won't help you and BC but might give the vet food for thought for his next diabetic patient. You'd be paying it forward!I think so too.
And I know that what happened with his dosages before isn't what's important now, but seeing how he's responding to his shots, I'm so upset about the high amount of insulin he was on previously. I'm really surprised that it didn't kill him. He was eating tons of kibble, though.
That said, he's starting to slim back down a little. He's always been pretty fat, but his midsection is starting to change.
