Attitude seems to contradict the numbers. She seemed pretty frisky this morning and usually she needs to get down in the blues before she starts feeling frisky.

New canister of strips seems faulty. Takes 2-3 strips to get any test. They seem like they will be fine, but get an error instead of a reading. Testing on myself, the numbers themselves seem fine. Hoping the package of strips I ordered will show up soon :roll:

I know . I keep telling myself to look at how happy she acts, not what the meter says.

BTW, have you checked the battery? That can make the meter act strange sometimes. I just went to a new meter, the difference in the way the strips were gripped was amazing. They would loose contact in the old one and we got a lot of errors. I guess they can wear down like anything else.

Ann, I did just change the battery when we started this trip around the dance floor in Oct, dead battery was the reason we went a month without testing after she got into the bad food.. I've thought about switching meter and poker (because that doesn't seem to be working quite right on her either) but the poker still works fine on me and the meter reads correctly on me so I figure its just wishful thinking that the equipment might be going bad and new stuff will somehow change things.
 
Hope this is just a result of the puking which looks like a result of trying the EVO 95% turkey and chicken. Seems like everyone but one liked it, but both Smokey and Avie were throwing up today and Avie never throws up. This has been a string a crappy numbers. :YMSIGH:
