Hi Cecile Happy to hear Bella was happy and playful this morning.
Tyler will scoot once in a blue moon and so did his brother Perry.
Nothing was wrong with their anal glands. Who knows why they did it. I'm thinking maybe their might have had a dingle berry on their poop whole and didn't like it lol.
I would just keep an eye on her
I hope you see some green tonight :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I am not sure. i've been reading about hyperesthesia, she seems to have all that. I think I decreased her Gapapentin too much, I will increase again. I was at once a day for the last few days.
She's playing again so it's not too bad. And she wants to eat, too.

I feel a little better she's playing again and wants to eat. Glad you're going to increase the gaba , Looking at her cute face and hear she's in pain makes me sad .

I looked it up too does Bella do any of this ? I have never heard you mention any of these symptoms. I hope she doesn't have this

Symptoms of Feline Hyperesthesia Syndrome

  • Dilated pupils.
  • Jumping and running.
  • Excessive meowing and other noises.
  • Tail-chasing.
  • Biting or licking the lower back, sides, hind paws, rear, or tail.

She has spasms of the muscles of her back and sides, she bites and licks a lot her back legs, and lower back too, and she hisses and cries if we touch her back. She is loud but she always have been, she talks a lot. She's been doing that for a while but it was much better since we started the Adequan. I've been lowering the Gaba and went down to once a day early this week, that's about when she started doing that again.
