WOOHOO!!! GREEN KT! I was sort of worried when I woke up, he didn't get up to greet us hollering for food....I guess he was still really sleepy, he was still in his bed on the desk - picked him up, he seemed to wake up and go hunting food. He handed me a 72 so he wasn't hypo. The first few times he handed me those silly low numbers at AMPS, I worried about how low he went overnight...now I know he just continues to go down until he eats. He's up roaming around looking for trouble. He trapped Sasha in the bedroom a few minutes ago - he just sits in the doorway, poor itty bitty drooler won't go past him...he's twice her size and LOVES to pop her as she goes past...she yelps like she's been shot even when he misses which is most of the time....

WOOHOO!!! GREEN DAKOTA TOO!!! Well, almost...we'll be there shortly. Our spreadsheet actually has the green range up to 130 - 'normal' range so I can quickly see when we're doing perfect - by our spreadsheet, he's already GREEN! It IS a lighter green so hopefully won't confuse people. He's not feeling well, still fighting a kitty cold, sneezes, stuffy nose but being his usual sweet self. Unlike KT, he's gone btb beside the heater with Leo and ShuShu.
Everything here is still covered in a THICK layer of ice about an inch thick. It LOOKS like snow but it's hard. I did do a load of laundry this morning - our washer drains out into a french drain, was sort of afraid there would be ice down in the drain area but either the hot water melted it or there wasn't. It IS about 18" deep at that point so should never freeze here....I just didn't trust it.
There's a hundred things I said I'd do the first icy day but haven't done much of any of them yet - did floors but that's about it! I'm going to be LAZY today! I WOULD say 'Yeah...right...when the earth moves...' but we had a 4.5 earthquake about 100 miles away near Oklahoma City so that wouldn't work...it cracked the ice sheets here when it shook.
BIG HUGS to all that visit today - STAY WARM!
