yes, that suggestion was a couple weeks ago (i believe), the suggestion was not to shoot him when he is 120 or below and see if he will go down on his own... i guess i went a bit too far when he was 129, but i noticed that when i shoot, he gets too low to the 50s.
but i will make sure to shoot him next time he is over 120.
i don't think he is ready for OTJ either , so i will shoot him whenever he is high enough.

Fwiw with readings in the 160 and 150s I'm don't think belle is ready for OTJ.

Ideally you would want to see him all green. But I do think the only way you are going to give him a chance of achieving that is by shooting those lower greens, to push his numbers down, but to do that safely, you would need to be able to monitor especially those pm cycles, which I know has been suggested before, but is not possible. If you could find a way to do that for a short period of time I do believe he will go OTJ for you, might it not be wortwhile to find a way? Short term pain for long term gain?

Failing that I think your previous strategy had been working at keeping him pretty well regulated, I fear that what you will find is his numbers creeping up, and belle losing the equilibrium you have achieved.

Hope you don't perceive that as nagging my comments are just how I see it, and felt I should share with you. You are of course entitled to disagree and try something else.

When has he got into the 50s?

Not seeing it in the ss in the last month?:confused:

He's looking pretty well regulated for the most part, not shooting the other day worked out as Mr p seemed to bring him down a couple of hours later. Just be watchful of his numbers creeping up.
