Ollie didn't eat either overnight snack and neither did PJ.

Today is dad's 89th birthday. Last couple of years I order his favorite cake, Boston Cream, and bring in a sheet cake for all the residents for lunch.

I will be picking them up soon, hope they got it right. The man who took the order didn't seem to get it. I called yesterday to go over it with them again. I'm going to have lunch with him. Hopefully we can get him down to dining room.

Cakes were delicious. One I ordered just sprinkles and was fine. The other was ordered with red/white roses and Happy Birthday Dad. It was fine, I thought they could have made the roses bigger and they didn't put green leaves on it. Sort of naked looking.

Last year I bought in 1 bottle of sparkling cider and even though most decline it, we ran out. This year I bought in 2 bottles and it still wasn't enough. Next year 3 or 4 bottles it will be.
 
Glad to hear the cakes turned out! Happy Birthday to your DD! Hope Ollie has a better day tomorrow...looks like a high finish...oh these cats :) Maybe she got into the cake??? Luci tried to get into my cookies! That girl keeps trying...always trying...hiss!!
