Yesterday's Condo

My bad on this morning's numbers. Tested at +12 and got a 53, which has happened before. We were all sleepy, so I didn't retest. After a 15 minute stall, got the 152. ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile But we truck on! The kids have had a play session this morning and Willie's now headed off to "his" room and apparently, Herbie got tired of waiting for the bean to open the curtains so she could sit on her throne and rule over her domain (a/k/a the backyard that she is afraid of).

Got a chuckle over Julie's suggestion last night that I somehow get a picture of the three of us doing yoga! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: I suspect that attempt might result in a return to physical therapy for me!! Would love to see pics of how Ann and Liz's crew get it done, though! My personal favorite is when I'm in downward facing dog and Willie comes and lays RIGHT UNDER ME. And then gets highly annoyed when I need to move.

Looks like our computer person can work her new password voodoo magic from afar so I'll be at home with the kitties today. Yay! Do need to get out of my bathrobe and brave the cold for a bit to grab some Cold Eeze at Walmart. Need to nip this business in the bud!!

152 is a great start, 53 might have meant more excitement than you want today. Nip that cold and feel better Christie!

Nice start for Willie! I haven't had a chance to stop by for a couple of days, but it seems like you are stuck in November. :-D

Not a bad start. I'd love to see the yoga pix too. Tess loves to sit on my back anytime it is in a horizontal position, especially if I am down searching for something she knocked under the couch.. Then of course gets offended when I move.

Christmas is in two and a HALF weeks. Don't make it any sooner than it is!!!! I'm not ready!!!

I agree with Linda...that 53 wouldn't have been very fun, especially when you're not feeling 100% and also have to work!!

Funny. Everytime I saw your condo yesterday and today I breathed a sigh of relief. Then I realized it really is December. Wishful thinking. :lol:

Wow, that is quite a zoom for 15 mins. Willie, that is just crazy! Hope your cold doesn't zoom, Christie. Tillie likes to get on my stomach when I do yoga but only in the summer. Now she is glued to a heating pad to prevent it from levitating (like punkin and anya do for Julie's furniture). :lol: :lol:

Love the video! Willie is so stoic! And he clearly is being very protective of Herbie. The only thing that moved him was the airplane!! Neat.

Home from the gym. Kitters fed and now the bean is settling down to a Chipotle bowl. Finally got ahold of the vet. Apparently, the derm tech was out of town last week and the back-up tech just ignored my voicemail. :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: However, the regular tech was very apologetic and was totally willing to transfer Willie's rx to CVS... it's a maintenance drug that he'll be on forever, and I suspect it is a lot of work for the tech to keep up with refills. Plus, the meds went from $70 to $40, so yay!!

Willie unfortunately has had a flare up of his sores while we've waited for our refill. Last year, I was so overwhelmed with the sores, his diabetes dx AND Miss Belle's passing that I couldn't deal with preserving any of that for posterity. I've regretted that since, with folks having skin issues with their cats. The one thing good coming out of this is that I have the opportunity to remedy that and get some photos of pemphigus that might be helpful to others trying to diagnose a skin problem. I'll be creating a post in Health.

Great video! Willie and Herbie are such good buddies. They are so cute together.
