What a difference a year makes. This time last year I was hopeful that Max was in remission. That have been a lot of ups and downs but now at least it looks like he is pretty well controlled. Now I have to get better at figuring out what he will do so that I'm not up into the wee hours of the morning and not able to leave the house until 1:30 most days.Two nights in a row he actually slept on my bed. He wasn't near me but at least he wasn't under the bed or in his own bed.

Yesterday afternoon and evening was tough with my mom. I hope today and tonight is better. Prayers and vines to Amy and her DF, Tricia and all her kitties, those kitties on trial OTJ and those in need.

Looks like a pretty smooth blue surf for Max today, so you can relax and do something for you.

Thank you for the kind words on our condo from yesterday, Elise. I appreciate it. I do get overwhelmed sometimes, but really it could be much worse.

Sending lots of prayers and healing vines for your DM. I hope today is a better day for her.

Aww Max is sleeping on your bed again..Chi Chi has been sleeping on mine again lately, although sometimes she needs a little encouragement to hop up. I think that they are feeling normal again. His spreadsheet is looking really good too, thanks to you being a great momma bean! :smile: Sending feel better vines for you mom too.

I bet is has been a whirlwind of a year for you Elise! Here is another beautiful cycle for Mr Max! I am hoping your back is better with the Aleve Elise, but I am worried for your sister, it is not easy to be a full time CG, especially a live in as she is doing with your mom! Sending prayers and vines to you, your mom and sister! :YMHUG: And that is wonderful that Max is sleeping on your bed again! :-D :-D

Thanks for the visits Carla, Tricia,Ruth and Laura. Max appears to be bouncing and maybe it started last night after the 46 during the day. Hopefully after his food spike he will come back down. Maybe he just wants a pokie break. At least I think I can skip the +2.5. Ruth, the Aleve did help. As to Max sleeping on the bed he has done that before here and there but heads back down usually. He gets on it with the help of his condo but leaves when I go to bed usually. I had to pull him out from under the bed almost every test today.

Yes what a difference a year makes!! It's wonderful to hear he is getting up on your bed. His numbers are fantastic. Everything you've b een working so hard for!!

I'm sorry to hear you are having problem with your mom. I know it's exhausting even without FD. I hope she will be ok.

Thanks for your suggestion that I feed Gracie on a flat plate. I actually have since I got her. Several years ago, a friend of mine who does pottery made flat plates for all our cats (we didn't have G or T). Very cute plates with little "pawprints" in them. When she quit making them to care for her parents, I asked Ann/Tess if she could make some since we had broken the plates accidentlaly. She made some gorgeous plates for G&T and they love them. It does allow me to spread her food out but she has a fast little tongue!

Hi Marje. I was hoping a plate might help her eat more slowly but since you already do that I hope she stops the urping.

Well Max read 38 on the Micro so I redid it on the back-up and got 42. I waited 1 1/2 hours to test after the 92 but I guess that was too long. He didn't act hungry or give any indication he was going down. So I guess I try a reduction tomorrow. If he bounces I'll shoot through it like Amy suuggested. Otherwise I'll try the same reduction that failed on Nov. 25th in the morning. Good luck Max!

That was quite the drop tonight! I guess that yellow PMPS was the high before the low. Paws crossed he surfs a little higher so you can get some sleep.

Good luck with the shave reduction. I wish there was a way you could dial in a dose so the lowest nadirs were the 70's.
